I had a great time, though I think it had to be the worst run convention I've ever been to! I did get to see George Lucas (didn't think I was going to get to) and did finally manage to get into the store on Sunday morning (thanks to the 501st group picture, haha!) Bought too much stuff as usual. The Costume Contest on friday was amazing - my favourites were the Luke action figure, the Grevious, and every single Amidala (lol). For anybody who saw it, my dad was the Qui-Gon who came out with an umbrella instead of a lightsaber... *slaps head*

(and no, I didn't study one bit while in Indy. Couldn't force myself to do it, haha)

 

I would send y'all some of my pics but most of them are apparently of me and other people. I haven't yet figured that one out. Seeing as how I could have sworn that I took pictures while I was there too. Alot of mine didn't come out. I was excited to see that my pics of Warwick Davies and me and Ray Park and me did come out. But I had a Pic of Tim at Celebration at Celebration 3 and it didn't come out at all. I do want one of the pics of me and Tommy together though. I didn't get that one either.

I had a dream last night that I was still in line for the C3 store! You could hear me through the entire house cursing GenCon in my sleep!

 

I bet they were out of T-shirts and limiting the number of CIII Vaders you could buy even in your dream, Sal!

Starwars.com started selling merchandise from the CIII store online, including the Vader. I think it's all already sold out. Those bleepedy, bleep, bleeps.

The guy who asked to buy it was an exhibitor who was selling stuff in the dealer room. I never caught his name, as I was busy puppeteering/drinking.

 

Man- that's a heck of a combination!

 

Well, Yoda needed a prop so he could drink. Really, he drank more than I did.

 

Thank you TIM!!! And Traci!!! For letting him make my costume. I'm pretty sure I was the only one with a slave Leia costume that was made with metal and scultie. Everyone I talked to had theirs made out of rubber or plastic.

 

But they still looked REALLY good. Too bad some of the girls wearing them did not.

 

Yeah, there were a lot of great looking S.L. costumes, that's for sure, many a lot better than mine.

I honestly think that I could've worn it myself and would've had drooling fanboys continuously taking pictures.

Now that's a scary thought, but it's probably true.

I honestly wish I'd have spent the time making that Inflatable Jabba costume. Oh, well... I'll save that for CIV.

 

Thanks! I corrected that bit of info at www.midsouthcartoonists.com where yet another pic of Tim has appeared! Of course, I wanted to showcase the puppets, but you can't do that without the Emporer there in his glowing, glassy-eyed glory. I especially like the picture that has Mace looking like he's looking at the Emporer! THat's a TRIP!

Tim, you're a fantastic puppeteer to get him to pose like that.
