The guys (and gals) kept asking me, "Isn't that going to be a little dark..?"

    "Exactly!" I would reply.

It's really looking cool, and the material is really comfortable. Tim's kicking some major behind on it!

Thanks, Lin. I'm sure the compliments have nothing to do with the fact that I'm your tailor, here, and I have all of your costuming stuff held hostage. :p

    Why no..!

Actually, I'm looking forward to running around MSC in it! I'm just going to have to remember to buy us all breakfast sandwiches to carry around.

We're just going to have to make our own character. I still want you to get a Watto puppet.

If anyone is looking for face paint for a Chiss costume, I can highly recommend a Crayola Blue-Green crayon. The washable kind - it has the most even application when licked by a toddler. Guess how I know this........

OMG Traci is turning Chiss...........I took you to be a Mara fan, I guess E or R wants to be a Chiss :)

As for costume.....I finished my smaal additions to my lightsaber prop...I think maybe Lin can use it during the best costume contest @ Con.!!

OK, I'm seriously thinking about the Barriss Offee costume again. If anyone notices fabric that looks like it might work for the cloak, please let me know. According to the actress, it is dark blue, not purple.

    THANKS!!

That's one of my favorite new costumes. I'll keep an eye out for the material. How much do you think you'll need?

Depends on who makes it. If Traci makes it, then she'll need about six yards. If I make it, then get about 12 yards so I can add all of the secret pouches and hidden wet bar.

Ha Ha! Actually, 12 yards might not be too far off. The hood is lined and I think most people line the cloak with the same material instead of a separate lining. And then there's the cowl part around the neck and the material that goes around the face.

I want something heavy that drapes well, but not too hot. No prob, right?

Not a problem! I'm probably going to be by the Quince one this weekend so I'll pop in and look around.

Anybody else need anything for costumes?

I went to the Hancock's at Quince today and didn't really find anything. Maybe some material for the shirt. One of the upholstery fabrics had the right coloring, but I'm not sure how well it would drape. [face_frustrated]

Well, I hit the Wolfchase Hancocks today, and was very, very bad....

They now have $2.99/yd and $1.99/yd (and a 99 cent/yd) sections. Well, I found some great green and black fabric that were perfect for new tunics, so I got them. Hopefully, I'll have time to whip them up before MSC. If anyone is looking for good material for a great price, get over there now. They had some great colors that would work for anything from Jedi tunics and robes to Imperial officer uniforms, all for only $1.99/yd. This message was brought to you by Hancock's Fabrics and the letter S.

They also had a material that would have been perfect for a Palpatim...er...Palpatine robe, but they only had about three yards of it. Bear was not happy!! They had plenty of it in blue, but no black. Damn them....Damn them all to hell.

I also found the exact...I repeat...exact material I needed to make Rhonda's belt and wrist guards. It's the exact color we need, and works great with the tunic material.

    Impressive...most impressive!

I'll try and remember to bring some spray adhesive and Bestine(decal remover). Let me know if I need to bring anything else.

Name the time and I'll be there!

I can't seem to find a close-up picture of Barriss's belt buckle. Does anyone have the action figure? (I don't think we have it - gasp!)
