Personally, given a choice between putting up with TFN fanboys and gnawing my leg off, I'd need to sit down for a bit and think it over.

Shadowcon is coming up in January. I know the Southern Outpost will be there. Are there any plans for the SMT to be there? I had a blast there last year and the SCA were very welcoming.

I was going to, but finances are going to be tight. I plan on being at MSC. ShadowCon seemed more for SCA'ers than MSCA'ers!

 

Yeah, I felt the same thing when I was there last year. And I'm in the same boat you are, Lin, and really can't spare the extra money right now.

 

I'll probably be there saturday for a bit.

 

What new costume(s) will you have for it, Kell?

 

January will be here before we know it. Anyone want to shoot for another costuming meeting? If so, we need to try and nail down a date so I can set it up at the library.

 

I hope I have my Parade Padme from Ep I ready... but that's a really big IF, since I haven't done ANYTHING on it yet! Otherwise it'll just be Leia

Saturday May 7th is National Free Comic Book Day. If Kevin is paticipating in it, would anyone be interested in costuming for the day or at least part of it at Triple Play?

I know there is going to be a new SW comic again this year. It looks like it a ROTS one- with Anakin on the cover, ladies..

I'll be out that way probably after lunch. If Kevin is game I'm in. I may see if KevW and Muley would like to do it. Antone, Janet, Adam, and Penny may be interested in coming out to do a signing that day. I know I'd have some BT promos to give out.

I guess we can talk about it at the game night next week.

I talked to Kevin tonight and he loves the idea of having costumed folks there. So I'd like to do it. It also could be a primer for EP-III release.

Does anyone remember whether the registration info for C3 mentioned whether there is a lanyard included?

...anyway, I was thinking it would be cool to have an SMT lanyard, or maybe, if it is unreasonable to think in souch small terms, have a Southern FanForce Lanyard.
