Talk about your obsessive/compulsive perfectionists....

After staying up all night, which I did not intend on doing, and after fighting with my own stupid flash program errors....

THE WEBSITE IS MOSTLY UPDATED!!!!!!!

Granted, it still has a ways to go, but I think this is a good start.

New things to note at SuspiciousMindTrick.Net:

A new Flash intro

A Flash main page

Skip intro buttons with options to go to main page for those with 56K connections

An events (past and present) area with photo galleries from past events

A News page, featuring what's new in the SMT

And links, links, links!!!!

And all of this would not have been possible without Rhonda so generously giving me a copy of Frontpage 2003, which I pretty much managed to learn a great deal about in one day. It was so nice to finally get all of the animation that I'd worked so hard on for so long uploaded. Of course, I had no idea that I'd spend another 5 hours tinkering with it to perfect my links!

Thanks, Michael. The Pyramid Death Star has been our logo pretty much from the start. I had to find some creative way to use it.

Oh, and the planet it looms over contains an easter egg.... If you click it, it'll take you to another site I where I hang out.

You might want to check that Easter egg.

I just figured that out, Ben. I thought I had all of those fixed, only to miss yet another one. Part of me says, "Gotta fix it NOW!", the other part of me says, "Ah, screw it! It can wait. You need a nap."

I think the latter part is winning right now. I'm going to nap while Rachel does.

Is there any way to put a chat room on the website? Last night these here boards were down, and I was havin' a freakin' hissy fit. Just thought it'd be cool if we could designate a couple of nights a week to all get together in a chat room or something.

I've thought about that, Steve. I don't know how much space a message board takes up, so I've been hesitant to create one at the SMT site. Also, since we've got one already for free here in one the world's largest Star Wars sites, I thought it might be redundant. Also, if you're like me, keeping up at one or two message boards is really enough.

Oh, and we also got an invite to move our boards to another SW message board if we ever needed or wanted to.

Of course, if everyone wants a private discussion forum, then we'll create one there.

The easter egg has one!

I can't believe this! I always sucked at hunting Easter eggs, and I still do apparently. Where is it? AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

The easter eggs in the flash intro still don't work. Spooty cheapo flash program...

Dale: Is there a way to password a page via FrontPage? I want to do a members' area with contact info on it, but I want to have it passworded for members only. Any ideas? (I'm too tired right now to look through this book at my feet. I've had less than an hour of sleep in two days.)

I like the private contact info idea. We've got a main email that folks can contact if the need more.

We need to do new pics for the site. Folks in their costumes and/or an SMT jersey would be cool. Maybe between this weekend's outting and MSC we can update all that.

Oh, Tim, do you have any of the RedBirds game pics? If not let mem know and I'll drop them on a disk for you. (Rhonda: Thanks again for setting up that outting last year- I had a great time!)
