Hung out with Humpty Hump and a few other members of Digital Underground
Hung out at a con with Rod Roddenberry (son of Gene)
Met Al Molinaro and Anson Williams (Big Al and Potsie from Happy Days) at the opening of a branch of their burger chain
Hung out with the comedian who was the voice of Roger Rabbit. We talked about quantum physics.
A few months ago, I was stuck in line in an airport with one of the Mowry twins. I don't know which one, but she had a young child in a stroller.
Met Moby when he headlined a fundraiser for a friend of mine who was struggling with medical bills.
Hung out with some guys from Dee-Lite and the Orb

    My wife met John deLancie.

My celeb experience has always been that they're all "just folks."

Nah I live in New York. Perlman was born here and I know he lives part time in the Village. I'm pretty sure it was his building I walked in front of, since he was hanging out on the stoop and talking on the phone.

Jerry Springer was at my show a few weeks back. It was hilarious watching some woman throw a fit because she couldn't sit in the reserved seats (which were in the shade and she had to sit in the sun) and then how all super nice and polite she got when he showed up.

I saw Tom Cruise in person when he filmed 'The Last Samauri' not far from my home town.

Makes me wonder if the mountain we have here is the one that blew the aliens round the world ;) Is it just me or are the stories from a galaxy far, far away a little more believable than Mr Cruises religion?!

Aside from knowing several of the football players when I was an undergrad at Notre Dame, I used to see quite a few celebrities when I was working in Manhattan, right next door to the Waldorf, most notably Will Ferrrell, who was dressed up in his full Elf costume right in front of the building I worked in.

Ender Sai, you'll probably enjoy who I didn't meet more: when they were filming "Serendipity" next door at the Waldorf, the crew, tired of answering questions, hung a sign on the back of one of the trucks: "The movie we're filming is called "Serendipity" and it stars John Cusak and some British actress". If only she'd stayed so anonymous.

Sure, let's make fun of the guy because of how he looks. You are so shallow, Evan.

I saw Fergie from Black Eyed Peas in an airport once. She was ironically browsing in a music store. Obviously didn't approach her, due to respect as a person who would obviously want to be left alone ... I hate travel, and I assume 'celebrities' hate it just as equally.

Got to go out for beers once with Dave King (Flogging Molly) and his wife. Others I've met include Bruce Campbell, Michael Moore, Jonathan Demme, Spike Lee, and Bob Ueker.

Spike Lee seemed a bit condescending but was still personable. Mike Moore and Bruce Campbell were the nicest.

Just today, director Stephan Sommers (of such classics such as Van Helsing and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Crap) was outside of my classroom. He also went to SJU once upon a time.

Shook hands with Gerald McRaney when I refueled his plane while he was on a USO tour during Desert Shield. Delta Burke was on the plane too, but she was trying to recover from airsickness, so I never saw her.

Also said hi to Dean Cain on a USO tour in Kuwait.

I saw a very minor, local "celebrity" eating in a restaurant once and I didn't go over. I tend to think these people must never get left alone. Let the guy enjoy his meal in peace, right?

I would tell you what the conversation I had with him was about if I could remember it. I think I told him I like his role in Raising Arizona. LOL
