Whoo-hoo, people! What can I say, my brain works in interesting ways. Yeah, last winter we had so much snow... apparently that was enough to last us two years. Not that I mind, I can do without getting stuck in too-deep snow like last year! Only, snow is so much more pretty than rain... so, can we have just a little snow, without chaos on the streets please?
Where can I sign that petition? I would love to have some snow instead of rain, but having temperatures above 0°C and without too much chaos on the streets. One or two days of chaos would be ok, but not more. So maybe snow on the fields and none on the streets would fit the best.
Yes. That sounds perfect. Creating a petition wouldn't be a problem... but who are we going to send it to?
www.petrus.de doesn't even exist, so not likely. I can't believe we're discussing the address of non-existing people now.
A non-existing domain for a non-existing person... it actually makes sense! Can't believe I didn't see that.
Bowling win for me last night: I made the 4-7-10 split for the first time in my memory, perhaps for the first time in my life. I've made the 6-7-10 a few times before, but never the mirror leave (I think).
I don't have the slightest idea what those numbers mean, but I trust that they're good. Congratulations.
If you can imagine the triangle of pins with the head pin alone in the first row, what I made would be the two pins in the back left corner (the 4 in front of and to the right of the 7) and the 10 pin in the back right corner. To make it, you have to slide the 4 across the lane to hit the 10 w/ the ball also taking out the 7...not easy to do.
Nice. I failed on all of my split leaves today, and they were just a 3-10 and another small one that I can't reclal at the moment. Of course, my ball slipped out of my hand on one of those and skittered off into the gutter, so I guess I can't say that I missed it.
I still can't imagine it completely, but I got that it was a split - and those ones are always hard to get. At least for a beginner like me. I never managed that. I was always happy when the ball stood in the lane and hit some pins.
Well, the last time I went bowling I was, what, eight years old? Maybe even ten. So I really don't know anything at all, but I can imagine that must be rather hard to do indeed, so kudos to you! Hey there Nat. *waves* Nice to see you over here.
I went bowling with my boyfriend's nephew and niece a few weeks ago and I was impressed that they could even throw the ball, and even more so that they were so good at it. I've only been bowling a few times, but I think it's fun. But I cannot get the hang of it. Half of the times, the ball end up in the gutter and the other half I hit a decent number of pins, even though I throw the ball exactly the same way every time.
Well done, Lexi! Finally at home... new home... and it really feels like a new home. Moved with the hope of everything being finished, just to find out that there are more stuff to do than one thought before the move - no matter how much a move is planned, it always ends up in more work and needing more time than thought. lol
