Yeah we all usually call each other by our first names since we've gotten to know each other. Just amongst ourselves, its less formal. I'm even sending out a few Xmas cards. It's almost like a family, right Laura?

The age group ranges from 14 to 29. As far as I know, I'm the oldest regular. Jeez, that sounded weird.

Hopefully after a few days everyone will show up and you'll meet them personally.

It's been fun, over the last few years, watching kids enter the boards at 14, and watch them reach "adulthood". I will watch all of your careers with great interest

Yeah, over at the JCC, I am a regular at the Return of the Sanctuary thread. We're all very tight, exchanging christmas presents this year, but we still use our usernames, or derivatives thereof, when at the JC. Then we go to another private board we have and it's all first name stuff. But even one of my absolute best friends from the JC, Aunt JarJarMimah, calls me Kess in our daily emails.

Sphinx (sorry it's gonna take me a while to get used to this and remember your names), that's cool. She lived in Liverpool. She LOVED it there. Used to go to every basketball and football game at the Carrier Dome.

 

I think its great that people can meet and become friends this way.

We've talked about maybe two or three years down the road getting everyone together in person and having a REAL party.

I'm SO excited because this summer we're going to Europe (your comments about England, you know...) - and I get to meet Ginger/Colette! YAY!!! It's going to be so wicked...

Yeah, most of the Sanctuarians live in the Maryland/Ohio region, and we're talking about a get together next summer, if I end up moving there.

It is very cool to form a tight knit group of friends like this. I've only met three of my online friends in person, but each experience was very rewarding...I met Auntie JJM at a George Lucas seminar at Cal Berkeley

Thanks for the list, and I will do my best to be a regular. I can't post during the day at all, work doesn't have net access, but I'll post few times in the evening.

I'd love to see the UK too. My mother's family is mostly descended from Scottish. The clan's origins are from outside of Glasgow. I really want to see Scotland. Interestingly enough, my fiance's mother's family originates from Northeastern Scotland.

 

I think it needs a little editing because some of those people don't come around too much anymore... but that gives you the idea...

Tony: See? I told you! Yeah, we're going to meet in London! WAY WICKED! We'll probably take so mny pictures it'll be hysterical, I don't think that will be a problem...

Yeah I was thinking of visiting Matt sometime in the summer... course HE doesnt know it yet... well now he does.


Some of us are still a little new, but I have a feeling we'll be talking to each other for a long time to come. We all get along very well.

My sister went to England and Scotland a few years ago. She brought back all these awesome pictures. I was so jealous. Ever since then I've had the bug. I'd want to definitely see London and Glascow.

By teaser I guess that means you're going to keep us in suspense? lol
