Trimaj, that is Nintendo's meal ticket. Family oriented. The 360 is probably the best system and is going to be for a long time based on it's upcoming titles.

 

Guitar Hero World Tour WILL consume your life if you know even a bit of musical theory.

 

oh, i know that fisto. i like their old school games... but the family oriented stuff now a days is just far too boring to me. give me fallout 3 or mirrors edge over brawl, world of goo, or yet another lousy mario/nintendo sports title.

i know the feeling peng... i love that game.

I'm more partial to Rock Band 2. Something about the feel of GH:WT is... off, IMO.

Oh, and Trimaj, I agree that a lot of the offerings on the Wii are too family oriented, but when they do get the more "hardcore" games right, it pays off pretty well.

If you mean just in terms of how it makes you feel...I haven't noticed. I'm too in love with it!

If you mean actual gameplay...I noticed something: hammer ons and pull offs are super accurate now. Much more enjoyable and satisfying when you nail the first solo in "Do it Again"!

I cant wait till I get my taxes then I can buy an Xbox 360. I miss playing games.

 

I hauled in four games today: BioShock, Dead Space, Lego Batman, and Mirror's Edge.

Gah, no submissions. It'll either be Prenn, Peng, or myself. I use my 33% shares of the thread to make that decision.

 

I think it's good to rotate starting threads myself. I agree with the choices you have.

 

I concur with Reynar and also put my 33% towards that end.

 

I do not know about this whole thread business, but all the guys seem cool and fun. Pretty sure, no matter who starts it, that it will be a party.

 

This just in (actually, it's not just in, I'm kinda late to this party): BioShock is ******* incredible.

yes... it is.

the ending's a bit blah compared ot the rest of it though, but keeping up the same level throughout a whole game is not terribly easy. especially when it's that high of a level.

I just finished the first "chapter," I guess. I got the "Welcome" achievement. Incredibly brilliant game so far.

 

It will happen, one way or another. It would be a shame to discard the STATEOTG name.

Not to worry, Grey! For the 360's library trumps the PS3's by a landslide! And your concern for Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts? Final Fantasy XIII will be released on the PS3 and 360. As for Kingdom Hearts, a third one hasn't even been announced yet. And since Final Fantasy will be on the 360, I think it's a safe bet that if and when Kingdom Hearts III is announced, it will also be multiplatform.

So what are you waiting for, good sir? Splurge!
