guess Halloween has everyone busy and not posting.
That is my guess too. I know I have been busy as heck.
Hope everyone is well. Love ya guys and miss the crap outta ya...lol.
Always gotta find time for posting.
Was the server down for a day or so? I haven't been able to get on from home, last night or early this morning.
Anyway, finished up my Yoda pumpkin last night. Will bring it in to work tomorrow.
Friday I'm going over to my gunny's house to hand out candy so she can take her kids out trick or treating. Always fun seeing the costumes!
Yes Helen. Both TFN and RS were down due to problems with the hosting site.
Unfortunately, CTR and OPX are both still down.
Yeah, I should have gone to the mod's board before I came here, where it was talked about. They've been having trouble for a while, looks like.
Hope everybody is enjoying their post-Halloween candy!!
I had a good Halloween . Took my Yoda pumpkin (I always carve a Yoda pumpkin LOL) over to my gunny's house and handed out candy while she took her kids around. Didn't have a whole lot of kids show up but there were some really cute ones, including a young Jedi <g>.
I hope y'all are out there voting today! It's so important! As Daniel Webster once said, "Sink or swim, live or die, survive or perish, I give my hand and heart to this vote." It's your right -- exercise it to the best of your ability.
I actually voted yesterday to avoid the long lines today, still have an hour and a half wait yesterday. This morning I am already glued to the TV watching this historic day in the making. I kind of feel all tingly watching this day unfold.
I'm taking my son with me to vote tonight. He's been learning about it in school. I might even let him pull the switch.
Make sure to pull the switch that says "C5 in 2010".
I saw this and absolutely had to share.
That's pretty doggone cute .
Don't forget - Robot Chicken Star Wars Episode II premieres on Nov. 16th at 11:30pm EST!!
speaking of Robot Chicken... check out this excerpt from an interview with Seth Green...
It might be too early to ask this one, but we are assuming we will also get this one on DVD in due time?
Seth: Let me just say that while I can?t offer you any specifics but know that we are very big fans of DVD and not only are we planning a significant product release but I am working diligently to coordinate a release event that is specifically for fans.
Matt: Ask us again in about 3 months.
Now, I wonder what that 'fan specific' 'release event' that they can talk about in '3 months' could mean.... Could be Comic con could be something else too.
Hope everybody ran out yesterday and bought their DVD/BD copies of The Clone Wars!
Hey, Justin... did you just send me an email asking for my address? I've got no problem giving it to you (although I can't imagine what you'd want to send me.) Just wanted ot make sure it was you. I don't recall getting an email from you at that address before. Guy claims to be you. =)
Yup, that was me GJ.
I know a lot of you travel around this time so Happy Thanksgiving a couple days early!!!! Times seem to be pretty tough for a lot of people. I hope you guys aren't affected too badly.
Ya beat me to it, Grumpy! I'm one of those travellers -- up in Big Pine, California fishin' at the moment.
I hope everyone has a wonderful (and safe) Thanksgiving.
Here's a little ditty to make you smile. Best wishes to all my CIV friends!
Ate Too Much Turkey
By Jack Prelutsky
I ate too much turkey,
I ate too much corn,
I ate too much pudding and pie,
I'm stuffed up with muffins
and much too much stuffin',
I'm probably going to die.
I piled up my plate
and I ate and I ate,
but I wish I had known when to stop,
for I'm so crammed with yams,
sauces, gravies, and jams
that my buttons are starting to pop.
I'm full of tomatoes
and french fried potatoes,
my stomach is swollen and sore,
but there's still some dessert,
so I guess it won't hurt
if I eat just a little bit more.
Well, I hope everything had a good holiday! I was on vacation last week, so mine was very good. And I'm working at home this week, which is even better.
Okay you guys, tell me how your Turkey Day was! Mine was nice and quiet, spent a few days in San Diego.
Hey - congrats, Justin!
Thanks Helen! It truly is a great honor to now be an official member of the TF.N family.
I shall do my best to bring fans the most up-to-date SW news in the entire galaxy!
