Gas is going sky high around here. I drove by the Exxon Station at the Corner of HWY 24 and 70 in Morehead City and it's up to $1.64! I'm gonna be broke if gas keeps going up like this!

 

I buy premium gas, as specified by my car's owner's manual, so I'm really getting hit hard every time I head to the pump.

 

Gas is brutal up here in Toronto as well but
due to the metric up here I am not sure on how the price compares to the US...

 

Regular gas here in J'Ville is averaging $1.49 I received this email concerning gas prices the other week that was really good. Picture the sign above a gas station that list their prices for each grade of fuel:

Unleded Reg. ARM
Unleded Plus LEG
Premium First Born

 

Lucky Jerri! Here it costs you an arm and a leg for Gas.

I went to Wallyworld the other day and there are still no 2003 Figures on the Shelves. I swear I live in the most Anti-Star Wars town out there!

 

Gas is more expensive here in Canada and it works out to over $2 a gallon...

 

$2 per gallon!

And here I was complaining about $1.60.

 

Make it $2.10...

 

What do the gas and oil companies think we are? Made out of Credits? Gah!
I'm a college student I'm not worth billions yet. Gah.

Now, I realize that I do not have an intimite understanding of how the oil and gas industry works, but it seems to me that OPEC is using a possible war with Iraq as an excuse to raise oil prices. Prices should not go up unless war breaks out in Iraq. Also, all gasoline currently in the distribution system should not go up in price, because it was paid for at a lower price weeks or months ago.

I don't know if that made any sense, but what I'm basically trying to say is that OPEC and the oil companies are using a possible war as an excuse to make extra money now.

But, that's just my humble opinion. I suppose I could be wrong.

I apologize for confusing anyone with my rant about gas and oil prices. I just felt the need to vent.

 

I was watching something on TV a few days ago regarding oil prices. Do you know that
Atlanta has the cheapest gas at 1.70ish per
gallon while places in California are selling gas at $3 plus per gallon.

 

Whoa cool.

Unfortunately I have some bad news. I just went to the doctors the other day because I was having severe stomach pain. I had an ultrasound done and it turns out that I will have to have surgery on my stomach. I am scared out of my mind.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I know that I too would be frightened if I had to have surgery.

 

Hang in there UD. I know it is scary, but, everything is going to be fine. I promise. I had this same surgery done & you will be glad later that you had it.

 

Well it's scary now with things going on. I have a feeling I won't make it to the doctors next week to meet with the actual Surgeon. I'm freaking out here.

Well I found out when I go in for Surgery. I go in Wednesday and I'll be out for two weeks.
