So Adamle is the new GM of Raw. [face_plain] I am not amused.

Also, I met Chris Jericho over the weekend. :D He came to see X Files at the movie theater I work at.

    A) could not be any worse than Adamle announcing ECW. I'll give this a week to see if it works before I boycott RAW. Still does not explain JR on RAW storyline wise (Outside of storyline Lawler and Ross were doing to play calling for SNME which was also taped last night)unless that was just a horrible tease about JR possibly being GM.

    B) *pouts* Lucky :p

    John Cena V Batista.

Looks like buying SummerSlam tickets was a good idea after all. :D

I like creepy Edge. Much better than the lame one that's been in love with Vikki.

So RAW has it's best heel (Orton) and it's (depending on the audience) babyface (Cena) out for a significant period of time of maybe up to a year or so without anybody really able to helm the show in their absence.

Yep. RAW's back in the tank for a good period of time. Good thing Heroes is coming back soon.

Raw is far from in the tank. People have been begging for Cena to be off-screen and Orton's already been gone for three months and Raw has survived. It's not that big of a deal. CM Punk, Kane, Batista, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, JBL. That is enough to keep the show going, plus all the newer guys will have a chance to make a name for themselves while Orton and Cena are out. I think it'll be good for Raw.

(Oh and for the record, Smackdown only has 8 guys I would consider "big names" and they're fine.)

You can all see a decent Benjamin/HHH match as the main event of Smackdown later. Pretty good TV match I thought.

8 of WWE's developmental talent (used on their 'reality show' NXT), stormed the ring and just cleaned everybody's clock including Cena and tore up the ringside area.

This video shows pretty much what went down last night.

Looks like they're trying to start a new heel faction. You could tell the crowd was really confused though. I'm kinda surprised they picked Cena to be the one to push over the n00bs. [face_thinking]

Probably because Cena is THE top star at the moment and taking him out would have much more of an impact than, say beating up on Cole and Lawler.

Yeah, but that's not usually how the do things. I mean, I guess since it was 8 on 1 it shouldn't hurt Cena's rep too much, but I just dislike the idea of using your top guy for stuff like that. One on One, sure if you want to give someone a massive push go for it, but to have him get thug-style beat up? Meh.

Perhaps, to make it more believable of they go through and have NXT responsible for Undertaker's 'vegatative state'

Apparently Triple H had some sort of secret surgery:

Paul "HHH" Levesque underwent an undisclosed operation as Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Dirk Hayhurt, on his twitter talked about signing a book for HHH while at physical rehabilitation, and said he was a little out of it because he had just underwent surgery.

HHH had been suffering from nagging neck and thigh injuries leading into WrestleMania, but has been out of action because he filmed two different movies.

I need to finish my list of the top 20 wrestlers in terms of storyline power over the last 25 years. Got them pretty much but it's pretty darn hard to order alot of them.
