You know that ad where Brett Lee said he wanted revenge because Chris Cairns hit him for 6.

    He just got it.

    51 off 70.

    //sigh

What the hang happened to my boys?!? I would expect a declaration tomorrow morning otherwise this test is headed to a draw. Then again It wouldn't suprise me if the Aussies were "confident" enough to bat for 3 days and then try bowl us out twice.

Oops, my bad if that's the case. The only nickname I'm certain Mark Waugh had was Afghanistan - the forgotten Waugh. Anyway, my point still remains, the only reason he;s still in the team is nepotism.

Weeeee! The tradition lives on... I wonder if wedge3210 is still around?

Anyone see the cricket? Stupid bloody Gold Coast Nine (Sorry, Nat...) switched to the Local News when New Zealand needed like 80 off 60 balls or something. Gah. But apparently Cairns and McMillan made things interesting... good to see the captains making a game of it, though... and not just a boring draw. Bravo!

And the soccer wasn't bad... I just hope we don't end up facing Brazil in the qualifyers... BRING ON U-ARE-GAY!

PS: Oh, and nice going Kangaroos and Wallabies... tee hee hee.

If Cairnsy hadn't been caught by Ponting at Long On it would have been a NZ win.

However, I think Pidgeon McGrath's 2nd to last over when only 1 was scored from it was the turning point. Good finish. :D

Fantastic game of cricket in the end. Test match at it's best! Respect has to go to Waugh and Fleming who made the best of a water filled game.
I think that second to last over of McGraths was spot on, as much as I hated watching it I would do the same.
A draw is keeping us happy :D

    A narrow escape for Australia.

A while since that has happened.

True, although the last innings was more like a one day runs chase than a test match, similar score and overs as well

And Mcgrath was angry as hell cos he got no wickets in the first innings.

Hell yeah, Australia's in with a chance this year. The nation's excited...what? This isn't the Mandalore Dump? :p Anyways, now that the rest of the country KNOWS what soccer is after our match with France, our team is going to have a lot of support. I would have liked to attend, but the tickets are practically sold out. Anyway, with Kewell and Viduka, we stand a good chance of getting into our first World Cup for a long time. :)

Kewell just owned the left flank in the last 15 minutes. Good to see the plan worked though, hold off for the first half then wait some more then attack.

Pretty blatant penalty to get the shot though

Woo! Kewell rules! And we can only improve, I'd say. Viduka didn't have THAT great of a game.

Here's hoping for positive result in Uraguay... hell, 0-0, 1-1, I'll take anything that gets us through.

I'll be getting my alarm clock ready though. :)

PS: And what the hell is goin' on with those Wallabies? Haw Haw...
