The 'Stand Alone' stories

Okay, let's face it: these are NOT 'stand alone' stories. They are Star Wars films without Episode numbers, just like when the original trilogy was rolled out. They will feature characters from the saga. They will further the story that we know already. Not 'stand alone. Re-title them! Star Wars: Rogue One.Do it. Eventually release the ultimate edition with no episode numbers. It will work. C'mon Disney and Lucasfilm. Admit the wrongs of Lucas and remove the episode titles. Why not another change. It has a history of doing changes anyway. This way you can remove the stress of working around episode numbers.

You released The Force Awakens without an Episode number in the marketing.... you know it's true. Give in.

Mav Edit: I don't think this needs its own thread. There are a few other places to discuss this if you so choose. Also, I don't think anyone here has any control over what Disney does.

 

Empire and Jedi both had episode numbers when they came out.
