    Hi folks,

My name is MKB and I'm pursuing my Phd in Star Wars-ology: the study of all things Star Wars. Two years ago I started a blog and began my chronological journey through the Star Wars EU. It's been a really fun venture and I've picked up a couple of like-minded friends along the way.

Recently I've been making singular posts here at TFN boards to point people to my blog and engage in discussion (I don't sell any advertising on my blog and there is no monetary gain in it for me, it's simply a labour of love). However, in an attempt to not spam the boards, I've decided to take a page out of the book of Rouge-1-and-a-half and make a singular post and update it as I update my blog.

At the end of the day I'm simply attemtping to generate discussion. I hope you stop by The Star Wars Chronology Project and check out what my reactions are to that creature we all love: The Star Wars EU.

I'll start this post with my last update, which was my reactions to the wotc rpg senario Swim Meet. A great little adventure with a fun little narrative.

Cheers, and may the Force be with you!

August is traditionally my most productive month.

Anyway, here are my reaftions to the comic Short from Star Wars Tales volume 1: Life, Death and the Living Force. Currently I'm at circa 35-33 BBY, and I'm slowly approaching the very important date of 32 BBY.

It's been a few months, but I think I'm finally back on track with my journey through the EU. Here is my reaction to Drew Karpyshyn's novel Revan. Warning, there are spoilers.

    Whoops,

I hyperlinked the wrong post. I was wondering why my write up on the Return cinematic was tacking so well today. Here is the link to The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural

Are you going to review SWTOR?

I think if I do write a post on my reactions to that game it'll not be for a long time. As it is, I've cancelled my subscription to the game, not becuase I I think it's bad, but rather, because it's good. I basically don't have time to play it the way I'd want to, which would be to play all classes, run all flashpoints, and do all quests. Not impossible, but time consuming in the extreme. I had to choose between spening what little extra downtime I have on a video game, or my blog. So I chose my blog.

But like I said, i'll get to a full examination of SWTOR one day.

You could do it one class at a time.

You could probably play the game at your own pace, make a post for SWTOR, and just update it over time, rather than completely dissecting TOR before moving on in the timeline.

I think I might end up doing it that way, little by little, one class at a time. But it'll be a long while before I bring all my thoughts together.

As it is, I've just finished my reactions to Matt Stovers' The Tenebrous Way. A great read. Spoilers are present, so click with caution.
