I got my copy this morning after running all over the area to find it. I really dislike the local BN. They never have anything. I did talk to the manager at Waldenbooks and she said that, them with Borders, will be offering a discount card in January. Which is great. I won't have to shop at BN anymore!!

Which BN are you speaking of? I know I went to the one in Fenton and the one on Watson. Both had quite a bit more then the Borders on Watson. O left Borders due to the fact that I could
    a) Never find a dang thing in there
    b) when I could, I already had the books listed, and the SW area was not impressive.
    c) The sales people were just snotty, and mean evertime I went in , like you were "Putting" them out asking questions.
So I went to BN, since I do not make it to the mall most of the time.

For those of you who haven't heard.

A novel about Darth Bane will be coming out fall of 2006.

The title I believe will be Path of Destruction.

Does anyone know of a website thats lists the dimensions on vehicles from Star Wars?

Does that Guide to Star Wars Vehicles have the measurement/dimensions? Can you still find it in stores?

I was thinking more of vehicles from the EU

I finished reading The Rise of Darth Vader this week. A good companion to the movie. I was glad to see they expanded on the wookies. One piece of the puzzel that fell into place.
Last of the Jedi-Underworld, turned out to be much better than I had expected, given that Obi Wan was no longer going to play much of a role in the story.

Picked up DNIII this week, haven't started reading it yet, possibly in the coming week. Haven't picked up Dark Lord, at this time I may have to wait until it comes out in paperback due to finances. *ugh*

Picked up Dark Nest III today. Only on chapter one.
Robin, you may want to try your local library for Dark Lord.

Question..for those of you who read The Swarm. Did this book suck or is it just me. I just finished it and was so totally disappointed. Nothing resolved. (yea so the war is over..gosh what a surprise.) I had looked forward to the confrontation between Luke and Jacen. Nothing. What a huge disappointment from Troy Denning....oh and the line, "you are really pissing me off." Uck! Can any phrase said be more out of character than that!

Yeah, everything you said is exactly what I thought. Is there supposed to be anything coming out that is supposed to take place right after this series? Even if you ignore everything else, what about the knights that got sent to Dagobah? Are we just to forget about them and assume that later Luke sends for them? Also, I think Jacen kinda redeems himself from falling to the dark side. But the whole Tenel Ka thing is really left out there.

From what I can tell the next book is:Legacy of the Force #1 - Betrayal
    by Aaron Allston

" This hardcover is the first of a nine-part novel series set ten to twelve years after the end of the New Jedi Order."
Its due out in June. The new Jedi Order stuff says it took place 25-30 years after A New Hope. And these last three crapy books by Denning took place 35 years after A New Hope. Personally I like Allstons books. He wrote some of the X-wing books and they were really good. So I have hope that these books may be ok.

It's about the ship from the Zahn novels, Thrawn Trilogy & Duology, and Survivor's Quest.

It contained a group of Jedi that were traveling to the unknown regions. Thrawn attacked the ship killing the Jedi and civilians aboard.

I believe Obiwan and Anakin are in the novel also.
