The Star Wars Saga -- In Twelve Minutes

Pretty much as it says...

It's the whole saga -- in twelve minutes. Kind of.



Now, I'm an extremophile by nature, but even I have trouble watching all of that in one go. It's hypnotic in smaller doses, though; say, two films at a time, or one-and-a-half.

Download, of course, and you can watch it in an obliging player and run it in slow-motion, or pause for breathers, or scan forward and back at your leisure.

I must say there are some interesting implications -- at least, in my opinion -- that arise from an artistic treatment of the saga like this. And it's another in a myriad of ways in which this saga inspires people, by methods big and small, to push the envelope; or, at the least, to suggest its pushing by said saga.

 

This is what Lucas always wanted: faster and more intense!

Eh, I see it as just another internet fad; there's no real substance to this approach. In fact, it really downplays the epic features of the movies.
