ATTN: As some of you know, I'm on an unexpected family holiday and it turns out the hotel doesn't have a computer with an internet browser, no matter what they claim. [face_frustrated] (I'm logging in from the library here, and it closes soon.)

So ... rather than cut things short and open voting now, I am going to extend nominations until sometime Sunday night when I get back. Sorry everyone! (Or maybe this is a good thing, for anyone who still can't decide who to nominate? :p)

It was a good thing, as I was not able to post this till now.

    Best GM:

    1. SinRebirth

    2. Dubya Scott - You're back!!!

    Best RPer:

    1. Ktala, for Alera Blueflare in Oz: The Heart of Emerald.

    2. Pashatemur, for all the characters, situations and interplay, with power struggles and whatnot, around Coruscant in Galaxy at War III.

    Best Star Wars RPG:

    1. Galaxy at War III: Schism of the Sith

    2. The Desert That Shall Not Be Named. Great story explanation in the opening post, and seems to have hit the ground running in post numbers despite being so recent.

    Best Non-Star Wars RPG:

    1. Algernon Pfepphel-Smith and the Legend of the Sunless Hour! The only one that looked interesting enough for me to have a read.

    2.

    Best New Star Wars RPG:

    1. The EUC-RPF Masters Tournament

    2. The Desert That Shall Not Be Named. Great story explanation in the opening post, and seems to have hit the ground running in post numbers despite being so recent.

    Best New Non-Star Wars RPG:

    1. Algernon Pfepphel-Smith and the Legend of the Sunless Hour! The only one that looked interesting enough for me to have a read.

    RPF Stars Awards

    1. Most Entertaining GM: Dubya Scott

    2. Most Educational GM: Imperial Hammer - for his treatise on Roleplaying Theory. Always has me entranced.

    3. Best Game Design: Going by the vast majority of his games that I am aware off, Imperial Hammer.

    4. Best Character Design: Seremela. This fan-fic writer has graced us with her presence, and instantly captured me with the character sheet for her character Korr, and the wardog that had followed him home.

    5. Best Opening / Most Potential At Opening: Seremela

    6. Most Improved RPer: Master-Of-Evil. He is actually posting. Going from not posting, to posting, is an improvement in my book.

    7. Most Helpful Person in the RPR: Saintheart.

    8. Most Social User: Trimaj

    9. Most Likely to Annoy the Mods:

    10. Most Disgruntled Oldbie: Well, right now, its me. Not in a good place, at this time.

Oh my, another award season? I think I´ve spend little time on this board recently. So I won´t vote. But a few nominations are missing from that list, really. So I´ll add them, at least.

    RPF Stars Awards
    1. Most Entertaining GM: DarkLordoftheFins
    2. Most Educational GM: -
    3. Best Game Design: -
    4. Best Character Design: Despised1 (he designed a wonderful Sith, even if that one is played by another, these days. Darth Cruor has the certain something)
    5. Best Opening / Most Potential At Opening: -
    6. Most Improved RPer: SkywalkerShine (in my few sessions of lurking I realized she has become a lot better, these days)
    7. Most Helpful Person in the RPR: DarkLordoftheFins
    8. Most Social User: - (not me, I am sure)
    9. Most Likely to Annoy the Mods: -
    10. Most Disgruntled Oldbie: LordTroepfchen (now you shout he is not an oldbie, well. He is the eldest member of the board, I think. And he is a pretty disgrunted guy these days :p)
    11. Best Single Post* (include link): haven´t read enough, though I think AFAS hasn´t got enough attention here.

My second choice, but at the time, I ooc'd that this was "fantastic", and I like to think that I knew what I was talking about in 2005.

Here are my nominations. Some might be repeats, but, meh. I'm afraid I haven't been around the RPF much recently, so my nominations are a little skimpy this time around.

    Best RPer:
    1. Radiance ~ I?ve always been impressed with his role playing skills and it?s been a while (if ever) since he?s been recognized.
    2. WINKWINK ~ Not only can WINKWINK make the kookiest characters (see below), but he can play them superbly. I?ve not seen another player as thorough and entertaining as him.

    Best Non-Star Wars RPG:
    1. Way of the Ninja ~ I know that it has won before, but Tee has done a VERY good job at maintaining the quality and entertainment of it. I think it certainly deserves to win again.

    Best New Non-Star Wars RPG:
    1. Dragon Warriors ~ I haven?t followed it too closely, but from what I have seen grey has done a very good at creating a game and maintaining it.

Best Character Design: WINKWINK ~ If nothing else, WINKWINK can whip up some interesting characters. He more than deserves being remembered for it.

His writing was exemplary, and I've seen little that I personally thinks rivals it. :)

    Best GM:
    1. darthramza (For his excellent patience with the players in The Saga of Nameless Lands. I know, its not really an RPG that is played in the more traditional ways, but still, he makes a fine DM)
    2.

    Best RPer:
    1. Kahn_Iceay (Out of all the choices, he is the best one that is eligible, as far as I can see. He is takes such effort to pay attention to detail, that he has a habit of being too descriptive in the Table Top Games we play.)
    2.

    Best Star Wars RPG:
    1. EUC-RPF Lightsaber Tournament (Even though I was eliminated in the first round due to my bad habit of making my posts too short and concise - a habit I need to work on curbing. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the two following duels immensely, and saw a lot of great characterization and combat moves.)
    2.

    Best Non-Star Wars RPG:
    1. The Saga of the Nameless Lands ~ A Dungeons and Dragons 4e Campaign (At least, if it is eligible. I don't go to the NSWRPF too often.)
    2.

    Best New Star Wars RPG:
    1. See Best Star Wars RPG.
    2.

    Best New Non-Star Wars RPG:
    1. See Best Non-Star Wars RPG

On the first page, Xan, SirakRomar nominated A Day in the Life of Krews Jortes: Jedi Knight for Best New Star Wars RPG.

You did not put that in your post and I request the change be made immediately before I denounce these awards as lame. I'm sure George Lucas would be disappointed at your failure.[face_plain]

It doesn't qualify. You need 50 posts.

I knew I forgot something! Fixed. Removed Sinre, too, because he's not eligible either.

    Fixed.

EDIT - For those of you who've already voted for ineligible candidates, you are allowed to re-vote.
