Would it be possible for anyone who is going to the BBQ to bring your Parks saber. I am potentially in the market but would like to see one physically for myself first, to get a feel for it. Feel free to reply or PM me, which ever you prefer.

 

Are High Schoolers invited? Sometimes I feel that I'm the youngesgt one here... Speaking of X-wing games, Why don't we bring in a few PCs, hook them up and play some XvT? I could bring a copy.

High schoolers are always invited. Just make your your parents know where you are going.

And don't try to drink when you are there. We like the new blood, but we condone underage drinking.

 

Sorry to tell you, but condone means allow. Finally all those hours of AP English pay off!

It would be really great to have your parents there or at least introduce themselves (okay, if you are 17 that may just sound lame, but if you are 14, well, I wouldn't want my kid hanging out with strangers). Jeff just forgot the "don't."

 

Will there be a line and/or badge check at the BBQ?

 

Gen-Con has determined that you will in fact have to sign up in advance to participate in each of the day's events, and your dinner will be served in scheduled time slots alphabetically based on your last name. But anything invlving prizes you will in fact have to make a further "donation" to the corporate monster. The name of which will be billed to you credit card as GullibleSucker, Inc.

Yes, the pre-reg numbers for SOS-BBQ are looking good, about 57,000 so far. Granted, that is only for the 4-hour badges, we expect more people to show up and buy 1-hour badges at the door (the one and only single entrance door).

Make sure to stop by the CF Store and pick up the limited edition Emperor Evad Yarg figure, which will only be available at SOS-BBQ. Purchases are limited to 50 per badge (think of it as a Emperor Army building pack).

 

Okay, I'm baaaaack. What I will need at the party will be........

Dips, but no chips. Please, for the love of God, no chips.

It's not like anyone is going to stalk you or anything.

Since you never said when we should arrive, should I assume that "Firing up the grill" at 2PM means that we should start arriving then, correct?

 

As it stands now I plan to be there.
I just have to get directions emailed me me at some point.

One more thing to add. Since this is pretty much the biggest CF event we have annually, wear you're CF shirt proudly if you have one. That way we can get a good group shot and show these other fan force clubs how to do a party right.
