I'm the same way. Movie trivia stumps me...but when it turns to EU, stand back!

 

Yeah, that was Viqi, alright. And she went out with a whimper, not a bang. Typical NJO death -- except for the really good guys. Bad guys just seem to "disappear." That's what comes of writing by committee....

 

I was SO dissapointed with her death scene. She had been such a persistant character like Nom Anor, who's end was not all that great either....not as bad, but not stellar. Over all though, I really enjoyed the NJO books.

Oh Lord...do you remember the "tension" between him and Leia in that book....creepy. On the lines of that question,

What makes SOTME unique among SW books? Think recommendations, forwards etc...

My copy of "Eye" has an introduction by George Lucas, with his signature.

The whole book is creepy, kinda. But especially the Luke and Leia part....

Alan Dean Foster has also written The Approaching Storm.

I consider that to be a pretty tough question, so let me throw out a few easier.

Well, Ilum Crystals are mentioned in "Jedi Quest," but that's probably not what you were looking for; other mentions in other books are of Adegan Crystals (same as Ilum, I believe)and Corusca Gems (or Jewels), but the latter is another KJA invention.

Han's cousin is Thrackan Sal-Solo; we first meet him in "Ambush at Corellia" (or was it "Assault at Selonia?" I'd have to go look it up LOL).

 

I was indeed looking for Ilum and Adegan, but I certainly would have accepted Corusca as well Good Going! I thought that one might take a little longer.

there's a scene in one of the OT films where we hear hamill's voice BUT it's not luke talking....

 

ok since no one seems to know or care about this answer it is:

In TESB, during the battle of Hoth, after the first cruiser escapes from the base and flies past the SD, there's a scene in the hanger (just before luke boards his snowspeeder) you hear a voice say: "The first transport is away. The first transport is away." THAT is Mark Hamill's voice......

Yeah JR, put on your copy of TESB and when you hear that part, it does sound like him only he is speaking a little slower and deeper voice...trust me!
