In character, there would be a problem with it for me. But it would make for a good storyline, because it would involve a lot of debate and bickering.

 

My interest was OOC as I think it would be fun to banter about in game with everyone.

In game, I have no idea which way to go. I guess it would depend on the arguements given. Or the contracts signed.

I must admit it is a very different bill compared to those we've debated on in the past. As a Force-sensitive myself I would be against it completely--but I agree it would make for interesting gameplay.

Anyways, are there more nominations for Chancellor? I think if we want to get this off the ground, we should do so ASAP.

And, I'm going to have to turn down my nomination. I don't know how much time I will have on my hands these next few weeks, so I'd rather not bog down the game because I can't find time to fully participate.

 

Well as he has brought about renewed interest in the SWC Senate and come up with our new scenario, I would nominate Sistros, esteemed Senator for the system of Anaxes for the office of Chancellor.

Seantors, if elected I promise to end beaurocracy and prioritise the major issues that threaten our peaceful community, I have said it many times, we live in the most democratic Galaxy in the universe, long my that continue, we must put peace first, and put our differences on the back pods. I am but a simple politician, I say what I mean and I mean what I say, I can't promise to do what is popular, but I promise to do what is right.

I have heard many Chancellors say they would end debate, this is WRONG, debating means democracy, and Democracy must live!

So...how long do we go we allow for the Q and A session before we move on to the election?

Shall we go through until Friday and use the weekend for voting? That should give everyone a chance to participate and we will have a Chancellor for Monday.
