Abq The Symphony needs Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers... spt 23 & 24

Didnt know this thread was even in here!

Sign me up for the 24th, possibly the 23rd.
Going to make this my first showing with the 501st if this is still on!

 

Gonna know more today come hell or high-water.

 

btw, does any one know what night would be best to go on? I'm not familiar with Popejoy and so not sure of the scene in and near there? I have tickets reserved for both nights but wondering the traffic situation. I know I'm weird!

 

Traffic along Central by the UNM campus is about the same no matter what night you go.

FYI, I got word from Ryan about the details. I will post it as soon as I get two additional details verified...

 

If we are trooping, do we have to purchase tickets or are we getting a pair or free to immediate family??? If so, how much are the tickets? And if we troop both nights, do we have to purchase tickets for both nights???????

Oh, before I forget, which TKs are interested in appearing on the 94 Rock morning show next Friday morning with Ryan? Yes, TJ, Erika, and Rainman will likely poke some fun. Maybe not Rainy so much, since he's a Star Wars geek, too. But undoubtedly Trout will have some fun...

Please let me know ASAP.

Well, I don't know, Cyndi, if you ever wanted to be a trooper groupie, or have your own trooper groupies. Either way it looks like you have your wish!

 

Whoever goes, ask TJ why he hasn't said anything funny in about 12 years. Is he holding all the funny inside to let it out someday? Local morning shows are terrible.

 

I agree, the edge's show is not even worth the air its been put out on, they totally suck, especially buck. he sucks bad!

 

I am there for the 94 Rock thing....as for the concert....I guess I am out of the loop as that goes as I have heard nothing about it since our lunch meeting. What is their stand on allowing everyone participate in this? Will they allow everyone with costume to participate? If they are going to do a limit of like 4 Stormtroopers and a Vader....I will not participate in this. Since they are covering all of the music from all 6 films.....they should have costumes representing all of the films there too. Just my 2 cents! It is all or nothing as so many of the 501st/Rebel Legion want to participate in this.
