A flashback episode in which Obi-Wan remembers his training under Qui-Gon Jinn to help Ahsoka deal with clashes with her own maverick master, Anakin.

An episode that features Yoda and Chewbacca and explains why they seem to have a history in ROTS.

An episode featuring Mon Mothma, Bail Organa and the first stirrings of the Rebellion.

An episode featuring young Boba Fett making his way alone in the galaxy.

An episode where a new Jedi Master and an apprentice (maybe already introduced and featured a few times before) stumble onto clues to the secret lair of Darth Sideous and face the Sith master in battle before dying.

    - I'd like to see an infiltration mission allowing 2 Jedi Council members star in the episode, perhaps use the pairing of Plo Koon and Ki-Adi Mundi (hence making up for the deleted scene of them together in AOTC) - either these two or Plo Koon and Kit Fisto...and that they attempt to quietly infiltrate a facility where key separatist council figures are having an important meeting. They manage to infiltrate the meeting and then expect to somewhat easily apprehend them but unexpectadly find Count Dooku at the meeting as well and are forced to engage him in combat.

    - An episode where Mace Windu and General Grievous first meet face-to-face.

    - An episode where Grievous is hunting some Jedi stranded on a planet they crash landed after a ferocious space battle. There could be about say 5 Jedi - Barriss, Ahsoka another Jedi Knight and Padawan team and an extra Jedi Knight. They are hunted on a planet during dusk and throughout the night while fleeing from Grievous and his Magna Guards. The episode could be called "Jedi Hunted" and should keep people happy in that Jedi are constantly in retreat or being killed by Grievous...hence giving him some rep as a Jedi hunter.

    - Wouldn't mind seeing Ventress on some more assassin/stealth like missions such as Cloak of Darkness. I felt she was a very tough enemy in this one and bested Luminara and Ahsoka. Would be interesting something along these lines again, although perhaps using expendable Jedi who go down to her blade.

    - In later seasons which draw closer to events of ROTS, I would like to see Palpatine perhaps try and feed info to lure key Jedi and Council members into traps, hoping to score some high target kills in the Jedi order prior to the events of ROTS....such as luring them in to face Grievous or even Count Dooku himself. Really, it shouldn't be Dooku's job to do the dirty work - this is what Grievous and Ventress are for, but still would be compelling. Perhaps this is how ultimately Eeth Koth and Adi Gallia can meet their end, through manipulations and traps created by Palpatine, hence he scores some key Jedi Council deaths prior to ROTS. This ultimately could also start to contribute to the Jedi suspecting more and more than something is wrong within the Republic and getting a few "wiffs" of a plot to destroy the Jedi.

Sorry for the double post on this, but a few more.

    - Towards the end of the series as events draw closer to ROTS. Have a mission where the Republic attempts to destroy key factories which produce the BX-series commando droids (and perhaps Tactical Droids) hence striking a hefty blow to the Seperatists. This whole mission could be a trap set by Palpatine who feeds Jedi with intel where they factories are...as he is now slowly preparing for the transformation of th Republic into the Empire and end of the Jedi Order. Palpatine's goal for this mission is to ultimately mask what is a nasty trap for the Jedi participating in the mission with hope of taking down some key members, while still making it like a "victory for the greater good of the Republic despite the losses". For him it would be a win-win - perhaps key Jedi deaths and events edging closer to the end of the clone wars on his terms. These episodes should be something along the lines of the Geonosis arc although on a much grander and action-packed scale, with also some very complex scenes INSIDE the droid factories and assembly areas ala AOTC - by Season 5 or so, the tech and animation should all be there for this. This could be a key episode where there are several key clone deaths.

    - I'd like to see Grievous in an episode where he is commanding droids in a ground battle ala "Landing on Point Rain" and even at times involving himself in the battle as well. Much like some of these war movies that you see with mass ground battles like LOTR, it would be good to see key characters going at it against each during the battle.

    - I'd like to see Sidious employ Bane again and perhaps have him take out key Senators or officials who oppose his plans. This could be like a darker version of "Senate Murders" where you see him as Palpatine and meeting in his chambers with people who disagree with his legislation and then see him in the guise of Sidious hire Bane to take out these key targets - including some on Coruscant and perhaps also ones on other worlds.

One of the last episodes should show the cease and desist in cloning of anymore soldiers for the republic armies. This is something they should emphasize so there's no conflicts in continuity.

I like those ideas, ArrogantJedi. :D

Well, the holonet's wacky crew has been tackled before, but here's something I was thinking of...

    Episode Title: Senate Dinner
Episode Brief: Holonet News Network reporters Kuun Fan and Ku-Al-An are sent to cover a Separatist state dinner/summit. The two are quick to acquaint themselves with their host, an idealistic and noble Separatist commander who only wishes to do what's best for his people as peacefully as possible. However, amidst the fried nuna and tea, the intrepid reporters find hints of a plot...the questions they ask are: Whose plot is it? And what story do they tell?
Jedi Fortune Cookie: Sometimes one must be a prisoner in the name of truth before it can set you free.

It could be a matter of STRICTLY political characters. Or you could have a few Jedi and even Dooku thrown into the mix. It's flexible. :p

    Episode Title: Grievous Unleashed
Episode Brief: An asteroid-bound training academy for Jedi Younglings finds itself threatened as a ship in distress is found to contain something far more deadly than refugees fleeing the war. Can Jedi teachers Shaak Ti and K'kruhk stop General Grievous' slaughter as the cyborg advances through the academy; unstopped, unchallenged, and unleashed.
Jedi Fortune Cookie: Overconfidence is a weakness. Power is a justification.

    Episode Title: Countdown to Destruction
Episode Brief: When the Separatists upload a virus to the systems of a Republic star destroyer in orbit above Coruscant, Ahsoka Tano and Admiral Yularen are trapped aboard and have one hour to find the saboteur and undo the damage before their ship falls out of the sky. Meanwhile, on the surface, Anakin is faced with the possibility of being forced to blast the ship out of the sky to protect the innocent civilians of the city.
Jedi Fortune Cookie: Familiarity blinds the logical.

    Episode Title: Test of Friendship
Episode Brief: When Cerean militants destroy a Kel'Dor space station, Jedi Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi and Plo Koon are dispatched to resolve the issue and promote Cerea-Dorin co-operation. However, as they uncover evidence that seems to make both Kel'Dor and Cereans responsible for the atrocities, their friendship and professionalism is put to the test as both come to believe that their species is the victim of the other's wrongdoing.
Jedi Fortune Cookie: Familiarity blinds the logical (again).

Title: Great Lengths (A sequel to Show of Will)

Fortune Cookie: When the battle is over, only the wise know to leave with who they have.

Synopsis: Newsreel. A clone ambush! While trying to destroy a key droid facility in the Clack'Dor system, the seperatists counterattacked and cut off escape. Jedi Master Plo Koon has escaped however, and finds the battle in the senate, much harder than the battle on the front.

Act I: Plo Koon steps towars the Dorin podium in the great discussion hall. He is recognized by a short Kel Dor, the senator. Together they plead their case, stating that more the troops will be used in a rescue mission, and not contributing to war mongering by Jedi. The discussion ends that night and an angry Plo Koon sets out with his Padawan to find anyone willing to help at the docks.

Meanwhile, a body is dragged across the floor of a separatist ship. Grievous and Tambor are awaiting the asailant, which reveals to be Cad Bane. He is paid, but Poggle offers him triple payment to enlist as a separatist captain for the battle. Cad Bane excepts, but calls in some of his "friends" to join the "party". Later, Anakin tries to destroy the looming Battlesphere, but his escort Stealth ship is destroyed when a Droll-class electro field destroys it. Anakin's Light Cruiser barely escapes, but it is tractored by one of the Providence class ships. He and three more clones are brought abord and the "mysterious" sep. Admiral shoots one dead, to make an example. Trench reveals himself, forcing Anakin into a denying rage, He tries to slaughter Trench right then and there, but Bane puts out his lightsaber and Geonosians knock him out, and kill the two remaining clones.

Obi-Wan and Ki-Adi Mundi are trapped on the surface, TV-101 charging at their 224th battaltion with Reek mounted b1s, b2s, Magnas and Bx. Though their forces are formidable, the Jedi push them back. A third party rushes in, as a dozen Huk attack the Jedi and TV-101. Soon they are all shot dead however, by a trio of Mandolorians. The leader, Pre Viszla, is looking for revenge on Kenobi, but he can't find him in the reckage. The other two reveal themselves to be clones as they take off their helmets; Alpha 02, and Denal.

Act II: Cad Bane, Koob Nash, Durge meet up with the three Mandos, but see that the Battlesphere's electro field had been taken out by Saesee Tiin and Ahsoka. The three all use their jetpacks (of sorts) to go up to the battlesphere, slaughtering over a dozen clones on the way. Saesee's ship avoids death by Bounty Hunter, but Todo 440 alows the 3rd part group to take down the two other ships (Pelta and Nu). Four escape pods go out, but two are tracktored. Ahsoka also attacks, but Bane kicks her off the battlesphere, sending her to her "death". On pod rescues her, with Hawk, Rex, Coric and two more clones inside. The other with Sergeant Hallond, and his two troops Ace and Gallegher are doomed when the seps take them down with their Ion cannon. Ace gives a insulting gesture to Trench on the Station, but Trench repeats it; six times. Ace screams "Republic forever" moments before the electro field blows up their pod.

Anakin wakes up on a Separatist shuttle, with Cad Bane and Gorco (a geonosian from the UK comics) watching over him. But the ship is attacked by a Pelta, whoes armor gets it through the Battlesphere's defenses. Obi-Wan gets out first, telling the clones to take down the ship at the same spots as had been done at the Sky Top Station. But this isn't Sky Top Station, this battlesphere is "far bigger and far stronger." quote admiral Trench to Anakin in ACt I. Two clones find what appears to be a control room, but the are ambushed by Robonino, who stabs the two to death. Denal (as a mando) kills his "squad" of clones, and orders an open fire on the clones. Droideka, Magnas, B1, B2 and Aurra Sing come out. Kenobi duels Aurra, but she uses her street smarts and quick reflexes to confuse Obi-Wan, tripping him into a deep chasm. Obi-Wan, luckily, lands on a magnalift train.

On Coruscant, Plo Koon has been quite less than fortunate. He can not reenter the system alone, but cannot find backup anywhere. He holds a last meeting, of liberals and republicans, but finds for once, the 'no clones' act is carried out. Palpatine steps out of the room, going into a "private room". Dooku opens his comm signal for Sideous, who reveals that the plan is going smoothly. After the death of the several Jedi at Clack'Dor IIV, the liberal movement will be destroyed. Dooku agreesm stating that this time, Trench, Grievous, Poggle, Tambor and Bane won't fail.

Act III: Trench cuts into the pod (one by rocket droids, on by his own lasers) and executes the clones on deck. He brushes off the reckage onto the Pelta, heavily damaging it. The pilots cannot hold it docked and break off, trying to return again. They fail, much to Obi-Wan's demise. They return for a third time, but the three Mandos attack. Obi-Wan jumps ontop of the ship taking them all on- and loosing. He falls off the ship, moments before it is destroyed. The mandos then land on the docking area, and with the droids kill "all" of the clones.

Koob Nash leaves a separatist council meet with his Aide ans hired Gun, Jarl. The two are attacked again by Anakin and Saesee Tiin, but Durge comes in and the Jedi are beaten down. Saesee escapes, but Anakin is launched into a canyon by Durge who, for the love of the game, goes in after him. Obi-Wan wakes up across the way from Anakin, who is just getting up aswell. The find many corpses here, those of pirates and clones and prisoners. A sole survivor, Hondo Ohnaka shows them a way to get out, but it is far from safe. A dianoga attacks them, followed by a Reek, and many other small monsters. Eventually, the three make it across but just as they are getting out, Hondo is shot by Durge. A long fight ensues, ending as Hondo gets back up, and shoots Durge in the back three times. They leave, and flag down a Consular under attack by Huk. Grievous covertly kills the Huk again and races off before Anyone can see him. The Consular, however, escapes his rath and goes to pick up the two Jedi. Anakin looks to find Hondo, but he's already gone.

Plo Koon gives up hope, but is suprised when Palpatine tells him he isn't going anywhere... without his backup. Plo graciously leaves with several Venators, Acclamators, Pletas and Consulars, to help the fight, and hopefully, bring an end to it.

    Here's my pitch:

    The Great Inventor

A two-part episode featuring a Howard Hughes type ship designer/ inventor as the main protagonist. He's a very eccentric but obviously visionary heroic character. Like Hughes he is known around the galaxy for his large body of work which huge leaps in technological advancement, who's been shunning the spotlight for a long period of time. To Anakin he has been a hero and a role model ever since he was on a slave on Tatooine.

He developed a new war ship, which he is offering to both the Republic and the Separatists. The Republic is highest bidder but Palpatine ends up interfering with his designs and cutting his budget which ends up frustrating "Hughes" immensely.
Dooku ends up winning him over by offering him full creative control and an unlimited spending budget so he could create his war ship for them.

Palpatine assigns Anakin and Obi Wan on a mission to find his secret factory, enter without being detected and manipulate his newest creation. Anakin is very troubled by this, of course.
"Hughes" isn't a villain at all- he's an inventor who has a vision and doesn't care which side he takes in the war as long as he can realize his plans of making a revolutionary ship.

They manage to sabotage the prototype. When "Hughes" presents his creation to the Separatist Council it doesn't work as he had promissed them. They cut their corporation with him and shut down his factory.
He is devastated. When he finds out who manipulated his work, feelings of revenge rise in him.
"Hughes" manages to enter the closed factory, repair his prototype and escape in it as he's detected by the Separatists. He flies to Coruscant with the intention of killing the Chancellor, who is attending some kind of public war fundraiser.
A daring dogfight between Jedi Starfighters and "Hughes" war cruiser ensues. When "Hughes" manages to corner Palpatine, Anakin has no choice but to shoot him out of the sky.
Palpatine thanks Anakin for his cunning rescue. Later on an upset Anakin is in his quarters looking at a holo photo of the young "Hughes", his former role model. Obi Wan offers him a few helping words of wisdom.

Nice one, Billy Dee Binks! I quite like the ideas in there! =D=

    Episode Title: Meet the Parent
Episode Brief: On the trail of Hondo Ohnaka's gang, a task force of Jedi and clones discover a frightening new force: His mother.
Fortune Cookie: If the hostage hijacks your guns, bring in bigger ones!-Mrs. Ohnaka

Well, materials claim that his parents are dead or missing, I can't remember which, but I'd love to see that one. Also, with Hondo's "speak softly and drive a big tank", I'm thinking he should write the morals for this show. :p

Your idea is great as well. Reminds me of Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys from DuckTales. :D
There would definitely be room for some great comedic tension between Hondo and his mother. She could even throw him off his throne and take his place as the captain of the pirates.

    Thanks as well!
I think I rather liked the direction, the Anakin's hero subplot, and the idea of dogfighting a flying fortress. Would also be a breeding ground for Attack on the Death Star references. :D

And yeah, she DOES sound like she'd be that way, wouldn't she? [face_laugh]

Pirate: Boss! It's Skoiwalk-ahr an' Kinowbee!
Hondo's mother: What?! You had captives and you let them go?!
Hondo: But mother, they were Jedi! They had that Forcey thing, their glowy things, vrruun vrruun!
Hondo's mother: Not another word! I want to see these hostages myself!
    -A little later...-
Hondo: Ahhh! If it isn't Skywalker and Kenobi! (wraps arms around them) Boys, boys, how ARE you?
Anakin: Have you been in the silam/spice lately, Hondo?
Hondo: Ahaha, young Skywalker, always with the jokes! Anyway, boys, I'd like you to meet...my mother! (they see the glowering Weequay pirate lady in front of them)
    Obi-Wan: (dryly) Charmed, I'm sure.
Mom: Hondo! These are the Jedi from all those holonet reports? How could you let them get away, you useless boy!
Hondo: Oh, mother, useless is such a strong word! Why, me and the boys, we go WAAAAY back, don't we now? (looks hopefully at Obi-Wan) Don't we?
Obi-Wan: (figuring it out) Ohhhh, I see. Yes, your son is indeed a fearsome force...I recall the sheer cunning of how he drugged us, right Anakin? Suspended in a stasis field like trussed up nerfs...
Anakin: (not figuring it out) Yeah, then Jar Jar came to save us and it worked. (shaking head) Boy, I'll never live that down...
Mrs. Ohnaka: Jar Jar? THAT Jar Jar from the holonet?! (Hondo groans and shakes his head while the Jedi look at them uncomfortably) That settles it! Obviously this was too much responsibility for a boy like yourself!
    Hondo: Mother, I am 47!
Mrs. Ohnaka: You've been 47 for a few years now! Until you can show me you can lead this crew, I'M taking control!
    Anakin: Oooooo. Awkward.

    Idea #1

This one is an idea that I posted in the Boba Fett thread, but I am re-posting it here so as not to derail that thread.

In a political intrigue episode similar to Senate Murder, the topic of introducing conscripts to supplement the Jango clones is introduced to remove the vulnerability that centralized soldier production on Kamino presents to the Republic war effort. We see that by the time of the original trilogy Jango clones have largely been replaced by conscripts and/or non-Jango clones.

    [image=http://www.starwars.com/hnd/theclonewars/guide/episode209/illo.jpg]

But even by the end of The Clone Wars we see that Jango clones have already been supplanted in at least some roles.

    [image=http://disparue.org/gallery/4/movies/starwars/3/images/starwars3_4657.jpg]

The character of Halle Burtoni has been established as a cold-hearted, unsympathetic character with no respect for political rivals, and she is concerned only with furthering Kamino's political influence. The motion to begin conscription programs elsewhere in the galaxy would pose a threat to Kamino's ability to use clone production as political leverage. With the threat of expanding the military, Count Dooku then secretly approaches Burtoni about picking up Kamino's military production contract and secretly corrupting newly produced clones for the Confederacy. Padme Amidala and Bail Organa expose the plot, the senate passes legislation to allow for conscription throughout the Galaxy, precautions are made to ensure that the soldiers remain loyal to the central government with the introduction of the various orders (including Order 66), and Burtoni is arrested for treason.

    Idea #2

Building off of Idea #1, a follow up episode would be similar to Rookiees, in focusing on the foot soldiers of the Republic. It would be similar to how the political intrigue episode of Senate Spy laid the groundwork for the following action-heavy episodes on Geonosis. The character of Commander Appo would be introduced as a level headed leader similar to either Rex or Cody, who leads one of the first mixed companies of troops, with both Jango clones and new conscripts. The episode would deal with trust issues the two groups have for each other and how they overcome them to carry out a mission.

    Idea #3

This idea would consist of a story arc that carries on for 2-3 episodes. The plot would be about a schism in the Hutt cartel as Ziro the Hutt, and various Hutt powers on Tatooine, ally with the CIS in an effort to overthrow Jabba and wrestle control of Tatooine from him, in effect closing off Republic access to the Outer Rim. Palpatine, in honoring his treaty with Jabba, sends forces, including Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan to Tatooine. In the first episode of the arc, Anakin crosses paths with Owen, who has become forced into Jabba's militia. There is friction between the two as Owen views the Jedi as pretentious, condescending individuals that somehow see a bigger picture of how this benefits the Republic which "doesn't exist out here." The following episode(s) would be action heavy and consist of the Republic securing the planet and removing the rival Hutts that, until now, had shared power with Jabba cementing an alliance between the Republic and Jabba that would last well into the time period of the original trilogy. Jabba's militia would disband and the Republic would be allowed to keep soldiers on Tatooine. Owen would come to develop some respect for Anakin, and invite him to stay on Tatooine to help them rebuild, but instead he and Obi-Wan go off to continue their "idealistic crusade" against the Separatists.

    Idea #4

This is a much less developed idea, but I would like to see Count Dooku, with Ventress as his apprentice, make a power grab against Sidious.

    Episode Title: Three Aces
Episode Brief: In the skies of Bespin/Tanab/planet suitable for dogfighting, Anakin Skywalker leads the charge to answer a grave new Separatist threat. One that matches even his supreme piloting skills!
Fortune Cookie: Strength in unity, defeat in isolation.

Summary: The Jedi are alerted to an attack on a staging area by Confederacy air forces, one of many in a recent string of attacks, all of them characterised by a heavy emphasis on fighter combat. They find that the fighter squads are lead by three aces: Two in regular starfighters, and one in a formidable freighter akin to the Slave 1 or Millenium Falcon. The Republic moves to intercept, bringing in their top three aces: Anakin, Saesee Tiin, and Plo Koon. Anakin, however, doesn't think that he'll need that much help from the other masters.

The trio, leading a special fighter strike force, deploy on the planet just in time to intercept the Separatists. After exchanging an initial round of banter and cannon fire, Anakin is forcibly separated from Saesee and Plo who are forced to back up other areas of the battlefield. The three Confederates, remaining in contact, initiate their plan: The Freighter shall engage in a bombing run on the overhead Star Destroyer as it deploys its fighters, turning it into a massive projectile to use against the staging area.

Scenes switch between both sides as their aces struggle to maintain contact: The Separatists show hints of a close bond and long history as their superb teamwork begins to clear a path to the cruiser, while Plo and Saesee rush to finish mopping up fighters in their sectors, and Anakin uses all his brilliance to fight off the aces only for the two others to meet him at every approach.

However, the Jedi bring in their trump card: Plo Koon and Saesee's hand picked fighter pilots intercept and further delay the freighter, which buys the Jedi time to return and drive back the aces. The Freighter pilot attempts to sacrifice his ship in a final attack run even as the Jedi attempt to disable it, but is stopped just short of his target by Saesee. Plo and Anakin drive off the freighter's shocked comrades, who return to their capital ship and jump to hyperspace, living to fight another day. Anakin thanks the masters for their assistance, while the remaining two aces are given a moment to react to this battle...

Important points: The opening battle would involve actual Jedi aces being shot down by the aces and their droid fighters. It's possible they may be Iktotchi, or some otherwise telepathic species. Plo's Wolfpack puts in a specific fighter squad appearance, though it might not be quite enough to establish their handpicked awesomeness. The episode introduces very skilled and dangerous yet honorable Separatists, and leaves an opening for the return of two of them.
EDIT: Aaaaand I think it'd be a nice touch if the freighter pilot had a navigator, too, maybe even one speaking an alien language.

Well, short of Hero of the Confederacy, I hope they use something like this. :D

    Title: Lone Wolves

Synopsis: When a squad of clones are shot down and abandoned on a mysterious planet, they must risk life and limb to make it back to civilization.

Newsreel: Stalemate! As Separtist forces begin incursions in the Outer Rim Territories, the Republic is hard pressed to find weak points within their enemy's strategies. Clones are dispersed througout the galaxy in an attempt to root out enemy installations. The brave clones under the command of Commander Wolffe and Jedi General Plo Koon, are dispatched to the distant planet of Baroonda to investigate rumors of Separatist activity.

Fortune Cookie: Don't bother it, and it won't bother you. (I really suck at these)

    ACT I

A single consular-class ship exits hyperspace above the green planet Baroonda. Inside the ship Jedi Plo Koon stands on the bridge observing the planet, Commander Wolffe beside him. One of the clone navigation officer expresses that the jungle on the planet is too dense for their scanners to locate anything of importance. Plo Koon decides the best course of action would be to land on the surface and investigate.

The ship streaks high in the atmosphere above forested mountains and green rivers. Suddenly there is an alarm on the bridge and radar picks up a group of fast moving objects. Clones rush to battle stations. The objects are revealed to be a cluster of missiles, and Clone gunners succeed in shooting down a number of them. Several missiles get through the ship's defenses but detonate ahead of the cruiser, releasing a swarm of ball-like objects.

The bug-like Buzz droids swarm over the ship, breaching the glass of the bridge and tearing apart internal systems. Plo Koon and Commander Wolffe put up a defense, but a single buzz droid kills the pilot, putting the ship into a plummeting descent. Plo Koon and Wolffe evacuate the bridge as the droids continue to swarm into the vessel. The two rush to the escaped pods of the ship, Commander Wolffe rallies his clone troopers, who are busy fighting off more of the buzz droids. The clones get to the escape pods and jettison from the doomed vessel into the jungle below, in different directions.

    ACT II

Plo Koon, Commander Wolffe and the other Wolfpack clones exit the escape pod, which had landed in the dense jungles. They emerge into the lush forest, Wolffe explains that the beacon of another one of the escape pods went active and that the journey to it would only take a day. Plo Koon agrees that the forces should regroup and they head into the jungle, now chirping, chittering and growling with the sounds from a thousand different life forms. One clone expresses how the place makes him uneasy and how he doesn't want to be around when it's dark. A bunch of random shots ensue to pass the time, different cuts of clones and Plo tackling obstacles such as thick vines, and dense underbrush, and shots of them walking around waterfalls, creeks, and gigantic trees. The daylight starts to continually grow darker until almost black.

Plo Koon mumbles something about it being time to rest, and that a weary group of soldiers will not accomplish anything. Wolffe reinforces this by issuing an order that all troopers get some shut-eye and a duo of clones; Sinker and Boost will be first watch shift. Plo Koon settles down to meditate while clones lift off their helmets, faces and hair sweaty from walking through the steamy jungle. Wolffe settles down next to Plo to discuss plans for the next day.

Sinker and Boost, eyelidss starting to droop after some long hours on sentry duty are shaken by a rustling sound in the brush. They draw their rifles and voice their concerns, which awake Wolffe and the other clones. Plo Koon rises from his meditation and says something about them not being alone. A clone makes a sarcastic remark about Plo's comment. Something like: "Oh, really? Are you sure?". The group tenses as the sounds continue, swarming until they seem to be coming from all directions. One clone says the infamous "I got a bad feeling about this" another tells the clone, named Fenris, to shut

Episode Title: Lone Wolffe and Cub
Episode Brief: Commander Wolffe, separated from his unit and his general, must brave the perils of a world dominated by a violent feudal war and protect an orphan he has found.
Fortune Cookie: Children are the future.
Summary: Wolffe's unit is swiftly picked apart by an ambush, sending the Commander crashing somewhere, where he finds a family soon to be destroyed. He quickly takes out the battle droids and mercenaries trying to finish off the child, and is tasked by the dying parents to avenge him.

Wolffe sees no point in fulfilling the vendetta, but agrees to take the child to the relatively safer town a good distance away. He braves harsh travel conditions, finding out more about the relatively pointless yet violent war that has spread across the planet, taking out bounty hunters and battle droids and servants of the opposing family, at some point picking up a vibroblade. Over time we see hints that the opposing family, while out to eliminate the child, are not necessarily evil and that they're just as desperate as the rest of the planet.

The clone commander finally makes it to the city only to be met by the head of the other family and the rest of his protection. Wolffe sends the child hiding, using his cyber eye, cunning tactics and exploiting the terrain, slowly picks off the security force one by one, though not without injury. At the end, the only people left on the battlefield are Wolffe, the head of the family, and Embo, which adds another hint that the antagonists aren't necessarily bad since Embo and Sugi only take jobs they find honourable.

The standoff looks like it will end badly, but the child comes up, ready to fight to the last against the being who ordered the death of his family. Wolffe and Embo, seeing the child, resolve that there is no clear moral victor in this battle, and they lay down their arms to try and find a way back where they need to go, though they also note that they have no right to tell their 'employers' to stop fighting.

As Wolffe finally meets up with Plo Koon, he briefly relates the story to the general, who comfortingly tells him that he did the best that he could in that situation, and at the very least, he is proud of him for defending the child.
