The TFN Battlefront 1 and 2 clan

Noticing all of the clans for battlefront having wars I thought i would join one then I thought ''hey why dont we TFNers create a clan, then join the wars!''this clan will not be focused on 1 faction, nor have one leader. before i say anything else, is anyone interested in joining?

Seeing as this is just becoming a continuation of the mess in the Battlefront thread, this is getting locked until we get things cleared up.

 

Use the generic JCNGL clan...it's the Games Forum's clan for all games..

I haven't played BF for a while, so I'm probably rusty but hey, what the heck.

I'm down to join also - I'd join the 'default' one of need be but I like things more personal.

 

sychwell considering 3 want to join i guess its okay to move along. once more people want to join I will make a game to find out whos good at what, and to find out the rules such as a ranking system or something.
also please state what system you have, and if you have a USB headset.

I like to play as either the Empire or CIS - good with soldier, sniper, rocket trooper. Tank busting, CP taking and air cover are what I do the most.
But I've played as every class for every faction enough to get down no matter.

 

Do I have to have the game?

 

Flare, if you get battlefront 2 then you are welcome to join then.
I think once we have 6 members we can start practicing.

 

I have a ps2 and im searching for a good headset so ill probly have one in a couple weeks

 

Just get one thing straight in the use of the [JC.NGL] tags... and that is:

If you plan to create a CLAN. Don't use it. It's essentially a Gameing League. (I hope EV doesn't read this thread) A clan is a hardout "n00b flaming" group of people who think they're better than other players of 'said game'. Whereas the JCNGL was/is a Gaming League... a group of people who alias (is that the right word) themselves with eachother to form a fun group of gamers for 'said game'.

If you're going to get all hard out with practices and Ladder Tournaments etc for Battlefront... maybe a new Tag is better. But if you guys are just gonna have fun and kick some arse, by all means use [JCNGL] tags.

Just my two cents from vague rememberance of conversations of the like in the past.

Seriously, SFL is in a clan, and he must have lost count of the times he's had a feeling of gratification every time he called someone a n00b/dolt/otherwise and then later told his clanmates on MSN how much he "owned/pwned the n00b/dolt/otherwise".

The JCNGL has never been 'hardout' it's basically just been people from this board saying on AIM: "let's have a game of JK/JO/JA/XWA/GBG and using the tags for identification.

edit = and yea, when in a clan (or not) and a n00b deserves some telling of their uselessness, I'll tell them. But not in the JCNGL I didn't. Unless it was Jeff42 in JA. Man he sucked.

no it does not matter if you have comp. X box or ps2. I have a ps2 along with a headset

 

OMG. You all will need the PC version... or maybe the X-Box live (i don't have x-box, but my understanding is online playing, yes?)

You can hardly have a 'clan' when you are all on different systems, espcially ones that don't connect to the internet. That's like making a tic tac toe clan. How can you all play together, if some of yuor members are using the PS?

I'm staying out of this now. But bear in mind. I'm giggling... a lot.
