Well, you could always not believe the constitution exists, I guess.

How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?

It means that I think the Constitution is as valid document as the foundation of the country we live in and the laws therein.

I find obsequious pandering to "just get rid of the Second Amendment" by people who cry foul over any attempt to even abridge the First, Fourth, Fifth and Eighth Amendments amusing and completely without merit.

I think our Constitution is what separates us from the barbarity of the Australian nations who would certainly overrun the US with barbarism should our bulwark fail...

If by barbarism, you mean real sports and real beer, then yes, we would. And the spirit of mateship would overrule the need to kill each other for no provocation.

Don't worry though, the bum-touching of your pansy sports can still happen when you get drunk. We're not as bad at sloppy drunken man-love as the Brits, but we do alright.

You need to try some good Murican microbrews... not that piss rednecks drink.

I will have you know basically the only thing I do in HKG when I'm there is end up at an ex-pat bar and end up watching either EPL or Aussie rugby...

Though I have to drink Guinness while doing so...

Wow... this thread was re-tagged as a Senate thread?

Ugh, just no... come to NY, I will give you better beers...

EDIT: Yeah... this thread was explicitly not to be a SEnate thread as per GrandAdmiralJello

I do actually need to get to NY at some point...

Tunick, like I said. Until the Jebus people turn up we can't do much; we're just waiting.

Also, New Senate is all about the subject matter, not the content.

To bring it back on topic.

Christians. Your God has been conspicuously absent from modern life. No miracles. Acts of suffering that god could stop but doesn't (yes, yes, the Epicurean Paradox). Rise of Creationists and other forces of evil.

Is it possible God has moved on to a planet of more perfect beings? In that, if you take Islam's premise to be true, he gave up and found a better group of beings to worship him?

This seems to give evidence to that theory:

Yep, we have those but even beyond that we are an aggregator for other excellent craft brews from the rest of the US.

Aussie sports are an offence unto the Lord. That's why He sent Liz Hurley to exact His revenge.

Beer, on the other hand, is something God loves. This is why the very best beer in the world is brewed by trappist monks in Belgium.

God also likes Belgium for some reason. Gave them a few years' break from having a government. The economy boomed, the people feasted and were happy.

I was feeling very smug on after watching highlights of the first day of the ashes. Even skyped my friend in Brisbane to gloat. Unfortunately, she was in the future watching what would become the next day's highlights. It would seem that God forsook us to go hang out with Brian Blessed.

So, what craft brew would Jesus like to drink, especially when he's watching cricket?

After that glorious victory, I felt England could at least rouse itself and deliver a fiery T20 performance.

I joked to my brother, with whom I attended, that if England weren't X/75 at the 10th over we'd go.

They hit 75 runs somewhere in the 11th over.

Deserved a refund equal to half the ticket price.

And though he played well, Stuart Broad is still a ****.

You know, if we started a thread to discuss international sporting matches, the Yanks would be stuffed! "But what about World Series Baseball", they'd hopefully ask. "Doesn't count", we'd reply.

    Sulking would ensue.

Jesus keeps a few eskies full of VB on the back of his yute when he goes to watch cricket. He's put on a bit of weight.

Edit - Broad was about the only guy who did play well, but agreed... he's a ****

You've got to feel sorry for the Yanks when it comes to sport.

I am assuming the beard and hair cover the southern cross tattoo on the neck, otherwise not the real deal Bogan Jayzus. Also, way too many front teeth. I am skeptical.
