Kali rolled her eyes behind her shades. "You had to get a whole parade to get me?" She snapped. "I don't do security jobs! I'm a theif!" she pulled her hand away from Palpatine. "The only way I'll go with you is by force." She seethed. She then sat, unmoving, not even blinking. She didn't even blink when she saw the light sabre out the window.

 

The hoverlimo pulls into the spaceport hovercar garage. The rest of the motorcade/parade leaves. Palpatine looks into Kali's eys pleadingly.

"Give me a chance, give the Empire a chance. I know you are a thief......and that provides you with necessary skills to combat crime and make the galaxy a better for its citizens. Please......the Empire needs you, I need you."

 

((btw- you can't see her eyes, she wearing shades.))

ic- She spoke tartly. "Like I said, you'll have to take me by force!" She said, feeling the the affects of the drink wear off. She stayed where she was, refusing to move.

 

((I know))

He takes her hand and gently kisses it a few times.

"You have very soft hands Kali. You are very beautiful....and also very obsequious. Must you be so hostile?"

Palpatine taps his chin in contemplation.

"Give me a chance.....just one chance, that is all I ask. Accompany me to Coruscant...please."

 

She sneered. "I promise you, it will be by force." She took her hand away, wiping it on her pants. "I go no where with you." She said.

 

Palpatine smiles at her, using his grandfatherly looks and disarming charm on her.

"Ok....just accompany me to Coruscant, the
C-3 Passenger Liner Imperial Diamond is leaving soon, I have two Coach(4th Class) tickets. I would be more than honored if you would join me on this trip."

((BTW: for future traveling on a C-3 there are four classes))

 

"Your charm will not work on me Palpatine, I always keep my promises!" She looked at he one who had flagged them down, glaring at him, glaring at everybody.

 

He smiles at her and kisses her hand again gently.

"Don't cause a scene my dear."

Using his Jedi powers he adds: "You are honored to accompany me to Coruscant."

((GTG, talk to you tomorrow))

 

Kali couldn't fight it anymore, she heard herself speaking. "I am honored to accompany you to Coruscant..." She said mechancially.

 

Do you still not have any Rebels? I just spotted this game today...I guess I'll join in.

Name: Milte Pargue

Home-World: Deltagon

Species: Human

Age: 24

Office: former Crown Prince of Deltagon.

Story: Milte was the Crown Prince of Deltagon. Deltagon is a member of the Empire. Milte, after becomeing more involved in his studies soon came to believe that the Empire was tyrannical and evil. Since he did not carry on their beliefs, and could not persuade his father, the King, to withdraw membership from the Empire, he abdicated his office, and went in search of the rising Rebellion that he heard so much about. And also to meet with former Imperial Senator, Mon Mothma. She had been his role-model since he was old enough to understand politics. More importantly, to put an end to the Empire and help establish a New Galactic Republic, which would be free of corruption and dictatorship.

Deltagon: Mountainous planet with lush plant life and blue, deep oceans. Almost free of flat-laying lands. This is very strange since this world's history is recorded as being a great delta world, with great, expansive oceans. But this was made possible since the mantle became very active at one point, and the tectonic plates collided, also causing many volcanoes to erupted violantly. Once the mantle cooled, and ceased to be active, the planet's suface was left transformed forever. But the planet remained to be called, Deltagon, which means Great Delta in the ancient language.


PS: I have no idea why i go this in depth with my characters. I guess it's so that they seem more real to me. I don't know.

 

ooc- great welcome to the rpg- right now my character kali is being abducted by Palpatine- she's a pro theif who has force capabilites- he's using his own powers to get her here, anyways, just jump in any time- right now their on there way to Coruscant- I think that their on Kaut or summthin like that

 

Imperial Academy - Carida

Lieutenant Maximilian Veers stood on the main plateform of the Imperial Citadel looking out at the city size academy that had been his home for the past four years. Rigorous training and headache pounding learning was his life.

His previous life.

Now his future life was a Lieutenant's commission in the Armored Assault Division under the command of General Irrv on some far off backwater world he had never heard of until now. He had hoped to be assigned to a Core World for starters but the small uprisings on the Outer Rim required the attention of the Imperial Army.

"Maxel!" Called his Academy classmate who had also graduated with high honors like himself. Veers turned to face the young man who was only a year older than himself. He had auburn hair cut short and wore the olive-grey uniform of an Imperial officer and the rank insignia of a Lieutenant.

"You coming or are you going to continue to stare at that old monolith of an Academy all day?" James Durk continued as he waved Veers to come.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Veers replied. He picked up his duffel bag and slung it over his shoulder then joined his friend inside the escort shuttle that was waiting to take them up to one of the new Victory-class Star Destroyers in orbit.

It would be his first time on board the new vessels. He had seen similiar shaped warships before and they made the VSD look alien to him. But her designers had said she was faster and more powerful than any other class Star Destroyer. Like her predessors before her, the Victory could travel through an atmosphere and land on a planet.

"What do you think it will be like on Culroon III?" Durk inquired thoughtfully.

"Barbaric." Was Veers reply. "But not for long." A sly smile slipped onto his face knowing that he will be part of an Imperial force that will subjugate and bring an uncivilized world into the Empire.

"I hope we get to try out the new AT-ATs." Durk commented wistfully.

"I hope so as well otherwise we would be two useless officers the entire time." Veers joked with a smile as the shuttle craft closed its ramp and lifted off.

 

The next thing she knew, Kali was on the ship, sitting next to Palpatine. "Quit messin with my mind!" She snapped. She didn't know what to do anymore...

((seriously I have no clue what to do- it is the morning after all ))

 

The C-3 Passenger Liner exited hyperspace and gracefully docked at the Spaceport.

 

Kali hadn't spoken for the entire ride- she jsut glared at everyvody and anybody-nobody spoke to her or even looked at her after they looked once.

 

After the ship docked, Palpatine helped Kali up and out of the Passenger Liner, a hoverlimo, escorted by four military speeder bikes, waits outside the circular spaceport as he leads Kali towards the small motorcade.

 

Kali only allowed him to help her to make him think she was calmer- he might have known tha but it doesn't matter. She felt used.

 

One of Palpatine's Royal Guards opens the rear door for the Emperor and Kali and bows to him.

Palpatine sits down and slides over so that Kali can get in.

"We are headed to Imperial Center, where you will officially be appointed Director of the ISB."

 

Kali stepped back from the limo, she ran into the gaurds- I am a theif and now you wish me to hand over other theives to you?" She said tartly. "Why me? Why not some other theif who will do anything for some money?"

 

Palpatine smiles sweetly at Kali. Again he notices just how stunningly beautiful she is.

"Kali, I do not want people who will do anything for money, because you always have to watch your back around them. Also, I have seen reports written about you by ISB agents, you are brilliant and a skilled thief, but you are also a very good and decent person, the Empire needs more people like that."

 

Kali raised an eyebrow. "records? what records?" She asked.

 

Palpatine gives her a knowing smile.

"That is need-to-know only, I am sure you understand."

Palpatine then winks at her and says,

"Don't you want to assist people, bring security to a very dangerous galaxy, and protect citizens of the Empire from crime?"

 

OOC: Wow, two pages...

IC: Narané whipped off two shots towards her target. She was rewarded with a scream. Suddenly the simulation went black and the lights turned on.

Her instructor walked towards her, clapping his hand.

"Very good. The Emperor will be pleased."

Narané shrugged in indifference. She could have done better.


OOC: Where do you want me to join in?

Kali rolled her eyes. "I'm a theif! I bring crime to the galaxy! You look up my files, you take over my life. What you don't seem to understand is that I am a theif- I do not work for people on the side of good- the only way i would help you-is if you chained me up and beat me for info!" Kali knew he woulnd't do it, that was one of the reasons she said it.
