Robinson had an ok game, but he was just as much at fault for the Chelsea goal as Cech was for Spurs' 2nd (although that second was more "freak" than "fault". Robinson was just standing in totally the wrong place)

Spurs deserved to win it, annoyingly :(

Cech's error may have been freak, but he made a bad decision to try and punch with an opposing player charging at him, and he didn't punch overly hard either.
Still, no-one is perfect. And Chelsea are much more likely to win another trophy then Spurs are.

    QFT.

I was amazed at how easy it was.

Not sure what you're saying here. He didn't punch hard, correct. That was what led to the goal. But it wasn't a bad decision to try and punch the ball. There wasn't really any other choice. Therefore it was "freak" that the soft punch happened to hit Woodgate at exactly the right angle it needed to to rebound into the net.

It just didn't seem to be a very good clearance attempt. Ok he couldn't do much but punch it, but he could've used two hands to launch it further.
If the opposition is in the box it's hardly wise to do a weak punch so they can get the ball.

Ok Cech didn't expect it to hit Woodgate on the head, and Woodgate tried to head it anyway, but I still think it wasn't a great decision to make.

But he judged quickly, and did better then the defence obviously did.

I didn't follow this as I take a hard line anti grimsby playing football stance!

Good for Arsenal 2nite. They got rid of the toughest team in the CL, making Man U's run to the final much easier :D

Is the Sevilla vs Fenerbache match still going?
Last I heard it was 5-5 and going for extra time.

Fenerbache and Porto/Schalke would be ideal.

    FA Cup tomorrow.

I can't see Barnsley beating Chelsea, but you never know.

Aye, that was said last round against Liverpool. And that was at Liverpool. This round is at Barnsley.

But unlike Liverpool, Chelsea want to win :p

I want to see Barnsley absolutely hammered, nothing less than a thoroughly humiliating 8-0 to Chelsea would do me.

If Barnsley beat Chelsea I'd love to see them make it all the way to the final :p

To inevitably, be squashed like bugs against the mighty Man U :p

It's looking likely. I doubt they can survive judging from their fixture list.

Keegan should get his OBE* soon

    waves Barnsley flag

That is why the FA Cup is great.

Unfortunate that United lost, but it's less embarassing losing to a premiership side then a not very good Championship side.

Be nice if a non-premiership team won this year.

Spoken like a true blinkered Man U fan.

Barnsley actually played well, unlike Portsmouth. But if you want to take solace in the "fact" that losing to a premiership team is better, then go ahead :p

Man U deserved to win, but couldn't get the end product in.
Barnsley deserved to win, as they played better.

I'd rather lose to a lower divison club that outplayed us, than to an "equal" club that we outplayed but they got a couple of lucky breaks

    [face_laugh] @ Rio in goal.

Will be interesting to see who is most successful out of the English teams in the Champions League now, since none are in the FA Cup and only 3 are likely to win the premiership.
Who will want it more? [face_thinking]
