Orlando, FL The Too-Poor-for-Dragon-Con Thread

SO here are my plans since I am missing out on the big weekend.
-Take my daughter to a surf tourny.
-Help my pal with his plumbing.
-read more than two pages of Lord of the Rings in a single setting.
-Work on the Seatrooper armor.
-Surf/fish/swim.........

Please someone tell me they are doing something more exciting.......

I can beat that. I finally broke out of my spell of worthless self-pity and started cleaning out my mess of a garage. I also got supplies for a few house projects. In between, I rebuilt the old SWMA escape pod model. (Mine is the one of the right in case you were wondering).

Yesterday I went to work. Today and tomorrow Stef goes to work, and Monday we do nothing of importance...

 

Let's see. Working today.(Right now actually),work tommorrow, work Monday,Tuesday, and even Wednesday. So I guess I'm in good company.

 

Well, I'm screwed at school bc Im having trouble with zoning so I gotta straighten that out by wednesday or else I get kicked out...but besides that, I'm doing homework and preparing for all state band auditions...

IM GOING TO DRAGON CON NEXT YEAR!! I SWEAR!

 

I got everybody beat. Everybody else is working or going to school...

I'm making lightsabers and looking for a job in the hopes that I may someday soon work. So there. I think I got everybody beat on the 'my-life-is-so-pathetic-whiny-farmboy' thing.

Thanks. I'm back on track, chasing off the gator at the edge of the lake, jogging again, bitching about my phone bill, and all of the regular stuff. Apologies for semi-vanishing. I was a pathetic thing for about a week but I'm better now.

...So there I was, eating Oreos while picking on some fictional characters of mine and trying my best to avoid thinking about doing homework (and succeeding quite nicely), when I suddenly decided that Friday nights were just made for scanning and posting photos. What that means is that, if anyone is interested, my photos from Dragon*Con are now available free of charge for your viewing pleasure here.

My only regret of the weekend? Forgetting that I had a camera every single time I saw a Battlestar Galactica costume.
