The top line of the header - remove the blank space or add links?

This is the header at the top of the page here, the blank space above the announcement is driving me nuts. When we send OW the next update for the Announcement I would like to either eliminate the space or put some links up there. The announcement would be the top line and the links below.

If you choose links, please post one.

 

I dont think we need more links.

 

It's just wasted space anyway. Begone wit it!

 

It never bothered me 'til you guys pointed it out. Now it's gonna bug the crap outta me 'til it's gone. The one at the bottom is anoying me now grrrrrrrr. (mumbles to self) blak spaces....blank spaces everywhere......whats that....aaahhh it's a blank space

I say get rid of it. it'll look better for those of you with weak computers looking at it with 800x600

 

Seems pretty much a consensus.

It'll probably be a couple of days before I get around to reworking the code anyway.

If the opinion pendulum hasn't swung the other way when I get it done i'll send the code to ObeyWann.

 

Yeah, if we get rid of it we can see more threads w/o scrolling down
