They just won their first of the year? Hasn't the season been going for a couple weeks or so? So really... that's not impressive at all :p

In that photograph, that's Johnny Bower in the net, right? Don't recognize 19, though.

Winning streak starts tonight! It's funny that it's a 7:30 start, in Dallas. [face_laugh]

A 6:30 start is odd. It's only because of the Leafs.

NHL.com and Yahoo say 8:00 Eastern, which would be 7:00 Central.

Yep. 8:00. Damn TSN and their adding the pregame into the broadcast. eg. Leafs Dallas. 7:30 Wednesday. Except, there's 1/ hour of pregame. Grrr.

    Oh well. Go Raptors!

Three game point streak! We need to start getting it done in OT/shootout though. Two late game-tying goals in a row, one with an empty net when we were on the PK. Amazing.

Kessel might be back by Tuesday's game vs Tampa.:D

It's going to be a change from Boston.

Tampa should be pretty easy for Toronto...famous last words.

I really, really hate charity points. Makes putrid teams like Toronto look respectable.

Just telling it like it is. I guarantee the Leafs will string some wins together and added up with all those charity points will talk up (or have the media do so) a 'playoff push' when they have no business sniffing them.

Poor Phil Kessel. He'll be wishing himself back in Boston in no time flat.

I can't argue that. I still think it's probably the dumbest rule in the league. The Toronto Star had an article last week where they said that Toronto only has to win 12 games to make the playoffs, meaning they would finish 12-0-70. :p

I would have no problem getting rid of the 1 pt. As long as the games aren't decided by shootout. Continue 4-on-4, or go 3-on-3, but the shootout is rididulous.

    It does favour certain teams.
