Toronto The Toronto Trek Situation.

Well, with July fast on the approach, Toronto Trek 16 is soon to follow in its tracks.

Now; Random posts aside, we`re not too sure how many Toronto Long liners are comming.

So far, I`ve confirmed five others.

Not sure how many of you have gone, but I`d recommend you attend on Saturday July 6th, as that`s the best day of the three to go.

So, whose comming out?

We can organize a group get together for Lunch, swimming/sun bathing, and of course there is that kick axe Saturday night costume party in the ball room...

 

Sounds kinda geeky.

I've seen Trekkies, so I'm scared, but a little intrigued.

Basic gist is, we`re trying to organize as many Long Liners as we can for the various STAR TREK related theme activities...with an occassional homage to other Sci-Fi vices-

well now i know the dates, i cant, its nothing to do with intercon, its to do with leaving for my vacation on the 19th, so i have to work up to the 19th and then leave at noon after work. but i wish i could but sault ste marie and a wedding, some camping, a casino and my old bar circuit are calling

 

Hmmm...get trashed with a bunch of trekkies or participate in meaningful activities such as camping and gambling...

Lush Wars

Episode 16;

"Enebreation of the Sith."

It's a woozy time for the Long Line. Although the convention has returned once again, several lushes are destined to be absent during the festivities.

Fortunately, a small band of lushes organinzed by Darth Digital and Duker Duck have established a new base in the West Wing of the Regal Constellation Hotel, with a bathtub larger then the first Sheridan Hotel across the street.

The goody-two-shoes of the Long Line: ELEWYN obsessed with keeping the group sober has dispatched several posts through out the message boards...

 

*Elewyn looks down at her shoes...nah. not that good*....*starts to wonder what would happen if the lushes WERE sober*---decides its better they aren't

 

Unfortunately for her and the Alliance of sobers the Darsh lords are armed with the new operational Super Funnel, the Drunk Star.

"The coolers are still partially frozen so you'll have to use plastic straws."

Sabrina;

"That's impossible, even for a 3 cm straw."

Kerry;

"Its not impossible,I used to finish off screwdrivers with my old juice box bendy straw and they're not much wider then 3 cm..."

 

OK, well I'm going for the full 3 days.

I was going to get a YJN room, but the YJN contingent is me!

I'm still thinking over my options for crash space. David tells me he has a room, but its essentially full. Duker has a room and as far as I can tell, its OK for me to crash there, but it also sounds like its going to be the generic party room. Not sure if I could get sleep there.

I guess I'll commit to my crash space next week with more details.

Who else is going and for when? Can we turn this thread into a checklist please?

Edit: Fixed a typo, and a checklist of people, and which days they'll be attending, not the supplies checklist!
