Not mine. I have the original VHS and a working VCR, plus the DVD of the film. I'm cool with what I have. Plus, I only like watching the film until Optimus dies. After that, I felt the film and franchise took a nose dive.

Yeah, I haven't seen it in many years, but I'm a 70s/80s toy collector, and I recently picked up my first G1 TF (Sideswipe), so I was in a mood to revisit the original 'toon and the movie. Was just gonna pick up a used copy of the 20th anny DVD on Amazon for $5-6, but then I got hits for the new 30th anny release and figured I'd just wait and get a new copy for a few bucks more (don't think I feel the need to spring for the BluRay.

if or when Hot Rod/Rodimus would show up, he would have flames to denote the Prime relationship between them. But then Sentinel didn't have them on his design.

He was also my first one, though my brother had bought Bumblebee and Windcharger earlier in 84. I liked that Takara and E-Hobby created the Diaclone versions of his and Red Alert's mold and made them characters.

 

Today marks the 30th anniversary of when the animated film was released. I remember seeing it in theaters, long ago. In the build up to it, I spent quite a bit of the spring and summer watching seasons one and two. I hadn't been able to watch all of them prior to then, but by then, it was full speed ahead.
