SWRPF Archive The Trials of Yoda

These are Yoda?s Trials. The following begins the recollection of three plots, involving the Dark and Light, chaos and harmony, subterfuge and growth.

Aged a round one hundred, Yoda was granted the title of Jedi Master in the year 204 after the Ruusan Reformation. Such a momentous occasion, was destined to come in triplet. Weeks later, a pair of aspiring entrepreneurs gained access to the largest betting payout in known record. Near the end of that year, the current Jedi Council, governed by one High Master, expelled two Knights from the Order.

The faulty pair had killed a Jedi Master, between them. Blindly following the Jedi Code, they returned to the Coruscant Temple, to be tried. Their spirits turned dark after their sentencing, though. On the eve of their departure, the two snuck into the Tower of First Knowledge. Looking to cripple the archive, the Knights meant to steal influential Jedi holocrons.

However, while searching, they stumbled upon a guarded room. Eliminating the two Jedi Masters in charge of safeguarding that part of the tower, they broke into a room containing ancient Sith holocrons. It was a much more worthwhile prize, so the two each stole a triangular prism and, then, stole from the planet.

A year later, the two Knights emerged from exodus, as Dark Jedi, on the way to becoming fully fledged Sith. Their mission was to exact their revenge on the Jedi that had them exiled.

Yoda and his padawan must discover the origins of their enemies. The Sith must be destroyed to maintain Galactic harmony. The road will test Master and Apprentice, steering them away from the Light.
Meanwhile, the two businessmen look to establish themselves in the meticulous politics that are the underworld of crime.

Rules and Regulations

Respect the TOS. Don?t try to openly defy anything I may do or say. Be subtle in game, and direct in a successive Private Message, when reporting your concerns.

Burning_Endor will be your Co-GM and you need to treat him, as such. Should I fail to satisfy your thirst for knowledge, you may be able to direct the query to him.

Refrain from obviously unnecessary OOC messages. It is superfluous to post that you will be sending in a PM.

Use a word processing program to type your posts, making sure to use appropriate grammar. Use spell-check liberally.

This game will encompass the story arcs of nine characters other than those played by the GMs. This will make it easier to keep the game on a more intimate level.

PM one of the GMs to have your Character Sheet reviewed. After a period, that will be later determined, I will post our decisions of the nine. Further received sheets will be put onto a waiting list, at the owner?s discretion, in the event of one of the current players going inactive.

Make an attempt to submit your character sheet as soon as possible, so that if changes must be made, you can make them before the game begins.

Deus ex machina will be limitedly tolerated. In the case of a GM's approval or when interacting with a minor Non-player Characters, you may control the actions and reactions of your surroundings, to a certain extent. If you take the situation too far, I will inform you and ask that you repost the scenario. Other instances will result in a warning, followed by punishment, if it reoccurs.

Affiliation

The Jedi Order: The Jedi find holdings in the Temple on Coruscant. They will play a pivotal role in this game, as they produce the protagonist. Yoda and his apprentice will try to uncover the origins of whispers about the reemergence of the Sith.
