The worst of toms can't be below like an 8 though.

 

How do we sign up? Everyone is so enamoured with Tom, and so I feel if I get into his head and dance around for a bit I’ll get a better idea of who the man inside is. What makes him tick. This is a first-person fanfic, correct?

The man in black fled across the desert, and the tomslinger followed.

 

A screaming comes across the sky. It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now.

It is too late. The Evacuation still proceeds, but it’s all theatre. There are no lights inside the cars. No light anywhere. Above tom lift girders old as an iron queen, and glass somewhere far above that would let the light of day through. But it’s night. tom’s afraid of the way the glass will fall—soon—it will be a spectacle: the fall of a crystal palace. But coming down in total blackout, without one glint of light, only great invisible crashing.

 

Tommy can you hear me major Tom

 

so there's this guy, tom, a true american hero, to be played by me. he has it all. good look, many friends, and also maybe tom is vampire. we'll see.
