I love the intervals when looking at intraday pricing, it's like they just gave up.

 

Apparently people got scammed not once but twice by a cryptocurrency called "PonziCoin". That's where things are at.

The real question is how much he'll fritter away before if becomes worthless on its own.

 

Crypto is good.

SELLING EVERYTHING AND PUTTING IT IN BITCOIN BECAUSE SOME DUDE PUT MONEY INTO IT TWO YEARS AGO AND IS NOW RICH IS NOT GOOD.

I swear to god, all these chumps who just throw money into whatever coin is biggest give the entire scene a bad name.

 

Then they should be commended for helping reveal the true nature of something that was in its inception awful.

 

Why, in your view, are they awful from inception?

 

It's features were designed to be of benefit to criminals. That is the primary and perhaps sole advantage of this "currency" over some more conventional specie. The only other benefits are ideological, and it is again a horrid ideology it supports.

 

i know libertarians are idiotic and ridiculous, but they're hardly criminals Wocky. Settle down!

 

i pay very little attention to it anymore. the crypto market has always been a wild ride, and i don't want the stress of trying to predict it.

i maintain that the blockchain is a technology with multiple real world uses - smart contracts, health records, PayPal-styled money transfers - we're just a fair way away from that point at this stage, and everything at the moment is mere speculation, dominated by the whims of the 'whales', who are clearly using their influence to make a lot of money with the runs and dips.

 

Oh blockchain is already being coopted by the financial services industry so it's going to lose any cool it once had, @epic.

 

also as a serious point, I had to ask Wocky's thoughts because he thinks intercourse is evil and Will Smith is good, so it's all backwards with him.

 

I would find it hard to believe they could back their crypto returns with capital reserves. It's just my cynicism speaking when I say I doubt they've done a single ICAAP.

 

The smart thing seems to be to put Call options on Bitcoin. I googled "Bitcoin Stop Loss" and realised the futility in trying to set a GSL and trade in BTC.
