Now certinaly it isn't one of the more fancy locals in the Star Wars Universe, nor is it exotic...

..but still, you have to admit that Tatooine is one of the most iconic, and instantly recognizable locations, and it is where it all began...

Origionally intended as a small component of film, 2 or 3 background plates, and a flyby, has evolved into a big ol' folder full of stuff, so big I almost couldn't burn it to CDr...


...and even though it's currently stalled, technical issues resulting in the lose of most of the origional materials, I still may as well bring you....

oh yes, should have mentioned, absolutely nothing survived the crash other than these renders, so there can't actually be any updates, only rebuilds, and this is all on hold for a few months anyway..

Would it be possible for you to post a zip file of those images? I'm on dialup and I don't have the time to wait for 44 images to load, but I'd love to see what you have.

well, I have 1 week left until university starts again, I'm tempted to just open up layout, hit render, and let my computer alone to pump out frame after frame for the next week until I literally have to pack it up, and put it in a box..

..either that, or I'll wait another 6 months to finish/start my little animated short

Looks like you're moving in the right direction, I think you need alittle harsher lighting. Check out some frames from the movies for reference.

 

Just bumping this to keep it from winding up locked before I have a chance to update it again, would be a shame to have to reupload all those images

 

Playing around with photoshop, a bit darker and less over exposed, more like what I was aiming for in the first place
