Yes, Bernie voted for more guns and limit damages on gun manufacturers. So, in this case, you and Leoluca are in perfect agreement.

No love lost for Rep. McCarthy, but apparently there is a bigger scumbag today, Rep. Walter Jones of North Carolina. Rep. Jones is a Teabagger, and decided to accuse McCarthy of an extramarital affair, totally unfounded, in a letter sent out this morning - his last gasp to force McCarthy from the race.

FOX's only journalist that is worth a damn, Shep Smith, essentially forced Rep. Jones into admitting he had zero evidence in this claim, and Rep. Jones resorted to an out of "Well, I remember Bob Livingston, and I didn't want to see that again!"

    Shame on you.

with all these republican candidates this time around I was hoping for more hilarious stuff like this lol.

lol @ house bs. I mean it shouldn't be funny at all but given how frequently this happens combined with how dumb it is I've just started viewing it as elaborate performance art. putting on quite the show eh?

Imagine where America might be if the GOP had actually decided to work with Obama.

Their behavior since his election has been nothing short of criminal.

    Peace,

thanks Obama you got Osama-Bin-Laden or how ever you spell his name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is Obama's legacy that and Obamacare but no one wants to give him credit. is he perfect, No I would like to see Socialized Medicine and to pull the troops totally out of the middle east altogether but the good far outweighs the bad, and for crying out load what is America's Obsession with guns? the Constitution basically says you have the right to a gun if a Militia rises up and takes over the country that is all it says, with the US Army as powerful as it is I don't see that happening and I don't think the king of England is going to come to America and take over so that makes the second Amendment kind of a Mute point and If any old antiquated Amendment in the Constitution should be amended or taken off the books it is the Second Amendment. We don't live in The Old West.

There's no chance that's true in relation to Bush's "cash on hand," I'd bet since his war chest was plenty full before he started...

Interesting chart I found, to help people better understand the Caucuses in the House

It's the Freedom Caucus, for the most part, that pressured Boehner and thwarted McCarthy.

The Main Street Partnership on the GOP side, and the Blue Dog Caucus on the Democratic side, are the most bipartisan caucuses. The New Democrats tends to be centrist too. The Republican Study Committee is know for its alternative budgets and being conservative. The Liberty Caucus is also conservative. The Progressive Caucus and Black Caucus are self-explanatory.

They're similar in that they're nearly perfect opposites:

    Trump ------------- Sanders
    multibillionaire --- socialist
    ego-centric ------- movement-oriented
    inconsistent ------ mostly consistent
    "Republican" ---- "Democrat"
never elected ---- in elected office for decades

    Their only similarities are:
    1. demographic (they're both old white men from New York City)
    2. they appeal to the base of their party
    3. they're doing surprisingly well as insurgents
    4. they're both running for President of the United States in the year 2016
