The Ugly of the EU (AOTC "Spoilers" - part official - Toy Fair Monsters)

Rancor, Sarlacc, Wampa, Dianoga...

And now things are getting worse...

With the release of AotC, we'll see the apparition of horrible creatures, including the officially confirmed Reek and Acklay... All being nastier and uglier than the other...

But when it comes to the EU, I don't seem to remember being a lot of those nasty and ugly creatures...

Okay, okay, the Yuuzhan Vong have their big part, but otherwise I can't really think of 'ugly' things such as the Rancor or the Acklay...

So, why not start a list ?

Oh, BTW, don't mention movie 'Uglies', only pure EU... (so Mynock doesn't count )

Yup, Vornskrs are nasty... (Esp. when you've played Mysteries of the Sith)

The Energy Spiders are indeed ugly, but I don't remember the Thernbee as being really nasty and ugly... (I may be wrong about that, though...)

 

Kell Dragons the krayt's smaller cousins.

 

I think the Voxyn take the cake really. Could probably whoop a rancor or anything in that arena battle sequence.

dathomir had its domesticated rancors in "courtship."

 

I'd hate to think what would happen if a Dathomiri rancor ever learned how to fire a blaster. They'd pick up an artillery piece and start unloading.

 

Vornskrs really don't seem that ugly to me. Nasty temperment, sure.

What about the Yvetha(spelling please)? Or the dinko thing from the Han Solo adventures. Or those underground and sightless creatures on Coruscant from the Coreillian Trilogy. The Talanda Til form the Han Solo Trilogy fit.

Really, the only ugly I can truely come up with is the descriptions of the Krytos virus victims at the point where they start bleeding.

 

Yup, Vornskyrs from MotS are ugly!

Also the game's version of the Noghri are too. *Shudders*

 

The Emperor's Chrysallis Beasts are quite ugly and nasty, too...

What about Akk Dogs from the comic Emmisaries To Malastre, they are from Mace Windu's mysterious home planet and have found their way to Nar Shadda (or was it Nal Hutta?)

They are MIGHTY ugly!
