Hey guys, is Wednesday such a good idea for the chat bearing in mind its Valentine's Day...?

Should we change it to say Thursday? Might get a better response then. What do ya think?

 

I can't manage either so it doesn't affect me - I'm starting to get annoyed with myself for missing all these chats

 

Good thinking, Mark but I'm not sure Valentines will affect the chat. The ones of us who are usually there are sad loners without a girlfriend anyway.

I think I probably fall under that 'Loner' category too, but I won't be home alone this evening. There's talk among my friends of going to see 'Hannibal'. But I won't have to leave until around 9:15pm, so I'll come by the chat room to say hi and wish you all a lovely Valentines'.

How can yous say yous are lonely when we all have each other.

This is the thing that drives me nuts about this day is that card companies promote this day and it just makes people depressed!!!

Fair comment Cass, but the day does make us more conscious of the fact that we are alone. In answer to your question, I did have a lady, a very beautiful one at that. But it didn't work out and we ended up getting a divorce, so I'm back to being single. Oh and that wee lassie I told you about during our chat is just a friend, nothing more.

 

It was the "wee lassie" I was talking about. I knew you had been married cuz I think you mentioned it in a thread somewhere.

And, yeah, I do agree with what you're saying.
