Perhaps you could give me a hand here, Phennir? You organise all the Delta Force/Moons of Yavin meetups. There's a convention/dealer's fair on at the Birmingham NEC in March. I went to the last one, and it was a good day out. I'll have to look into what other events are coming up or planned, and report back.

    Hellow Wedge,

Got your e-mail too! Think that this is a great idea and will get together people to come to Memorabilia in March. It was fun last time I went and it would be an ideal place to get people from the FF and Delta Source and other UK clubs together.

    Smart idea!

Also, just remembered to add that Empire Day is being held on 4th March. Same place as the last one in Cheshunt and similar format. Another ideal place to get together!

Stay posted Ttocs. I will do my best to get details on these events and more as and when.

If we decide to arrange a meet-up to any of these I take it that we'll be posting the details here anyway.

The one at the NEC sounds good, and it's probably the easiest for me to get to.

I see the next NEC Memorabilia is on 17/18th March - mark your diaries now!

We should also make sure we get these meet-ups advertised on the main page. Wedge will correct me if I am wrong but I am sure that if we get three or more events listed and at least three people attend each one, we get our own chapter name! Yeah!!

I PMed darthcleo about appointing a city rep (see the "who is our rep?" thread). Nothing's happened yet, but if and when it does, we ought to make sure that however gets it gives us a chapter name.

Definitely, yeah. I've been about four or five times. The first time would have been about 1998. I went the time that Anthony Daniels was there doing a signing session. The last time I went Ray Park was doing a signing session, but he was charging like £20 for his autograph so I didn't bother. It was bad enough having to pay Anthony Daniels £15, but £20 just takes the piss.
