Me? No, afraid not this one.

A: I have become embroiled in my Brothers Marriage break up (I've got their twin 3 year old girls & her son to look after while they give each other black eyes...) and

B: I don't fancy seeing Enemy at the Gates.

Oh yes, C: Nearly £30 for a return ticket to London from here - Eeeps! And it's too late to buy with a discount.

But I'll be there in spirit (Or Spirits ;) )

Mark keeps me aware of these meet up's though so I'll be at one of them :)

Ouch, you?re right, £30 is a lot to pay just to travel to and from London. Where are you based just out of interest? As for looking after three kids, wow that?s very brave of you.

Sunny, sunny Bournemouth (Peers out of the window at the driving rain...) Network South East must be one of the most expensive rail networks I think.

Yes, I dove in at the deep end, no, I was pushed thinking about it but at least Matt is getting through Jedi Power Battles for me (Hid Shadows of the Empire)

Ramesh, yeah Moon under the Water is a Wetherspoons pub. It has sort of become our regular haunt when we meet up in London and they do really nice food :)

Anyhow, I have sent you all the details for tomorrow :)

PowerdroidGirl, we'll be thinking of you tomorrow and perhaps see you at Reading on the 8th?

Hello to everyone who came along yesterday - especially Ramesh and Heidi :) Glad that you enjoyed the day and I look forward to organising the next one soon.

Btw, Ben, good luck tomorrow at Ealing and if you manage to get some pics or autographs that would be really cool!!

Yeah, I will do. I have some from the Empire Day convention a few weeks back as well and Memorabilia last weekend. I will get them all put up on-line, once the film is developed and let you know.

    Hi Turr,
Glad to hear it was a good day yesterday.

Can I still have a copy or two of that pic of us all with Gary Kurtz? I want to send one to Loner.

    Cheers me dear :)

    Reading Film Fair!

I'm sure Turr will be there, and I certainly will. Does anyone else fancy a Sunday out spending money on tatt you don't need?

It's Sunday 8th April at the Rivermead Leisure Centre in reading. I have the exact address somewhere and it's only a couple of minutes walk from the station :)

    Hello PowerdroidGirl,

Yeah, I will be at Reading - stalling out as usual. Be up at dawn for that but it is a fun day and we usually have a good old chat and pick up totally useless SW stuff!!

Rivermead is a little more than a short walk from the station though, PowerdroidGirl :) More like about twenty minutes :p

Sure, I'll have that film developed soon, probably after Reading. Anyone who wants copies of the pics - they'll be posted on my web site and I'll also get some duplicates printed up.

Reading was great, quiet but the dealers that were there had some very good and reasonably priced stuff on sale. I mainly bought myself SW CCG's, Pokémon CCG's (I'm not against bribery over the Easter Holidays...).

Got some cheap Cinefantastic's (a few of them are 1970's) and did a fair bit of talking.

Ramesh, sorry I missed your post yesterday. Yeah, Reading was great :) Managed to make some money on the stall and it was nice to meet up with some of the guys from my fanzine and PowerdroidGirl and Wordy from these boards :)

I had a very long but enjoyable day - left home at 7am and got back about 9.30pm. We had a good chat afterwards as well, moving onto the pub before making our seperate ways home.

Will be doing it all again in June if anyone wants to join us.

Sounds like you all had a good time. I'll do my best to make the next one.

BTW Mark, where is Derek (Wordy)? I think he has stopped posting here. Also, are we having another FF meetup in London any time soon, to go bowling?

    Ramesh,

I don't have the time or the energy at the moment to arrange another meet-up. If you want to go ahead and do so, please feel free.

As for Wordy, he is back home in sunny Norfolk for Easter - I think he is back next weekend.
