Challenge The Ultimate Hairband Songfic Challenge: New challenge posted 12/2!

So with the start of a new month, I thought I would dive in and host a challenge. I love the whole idea of songfics and wanted to incorporate it with my love of fanfic writing. So I've made a challenge for everyone to participate in, if you want to.....

April Challenge

Here are the rules and they are pretty straight forward:

1. Using the lyrics from the song I Still Think About You write a fic based in any time. It can also be any length and doesn't have to include any of the lyrics.

2. Any genre can be used

3.Please post a link in this thread to your story.

4. All entries are due by April 30. That's a whole month to write!!!!

5. Voting will commence after April 30.

If you have any questions please PM me and I'll get back to you. Really I just want this to be a great thread to show off everyone's writing ability. The challenges will get harder, but I wanted to start out easy to get interest brewing.

Hope everyone likes it. I saw these lyrics and plot bunnies took hold. I couldn't help myself!

May Challenge

Well, well another month and a new challenge! I'm excited. Let's get this show rolling.

For this challenge we will be using Blaze of Glory lyrics for the basis of our stories.

Rules for this month:

1. Please include at least three lines from the song (note them in italic) in your story.

2. It can be any genre, any point of view and any length you see fit (I'm easy because I want the muse to strike as many people as possible. You may also write as many as you want.

3. They must be completed by May 31. That is 31 fun and exciting days to write.

Just remember to have a great time. PM me with any questions, but I'm sure you all have got it!
