Yes, that was me (and really, you should be able to tell by the eBay ID jack-t-chance! ). Sorry you lost the auction, but that's the way it goes. It was the will of the Force that I should prevail so that I could give it as a gift to someone who will truly appreciate it.

Well, when money is no object...

 

Well, Princess, I can't say that it's NO object! In fact, the price I paid was within $20 of the limit I set for myself on it.
And I had to pass up several chances to get a Larbel "O" lightsaber at a price that's actually FAIR in order to get it for her. But that's okay. This time of year isn't about getting stuff for me. And considering the fact that most of those "O" sabers DIDN'T sell, I may have other opportunities to get one.

 

*Uses jedi mind trick on Jack_T_Chance... you will forget about sending that to your girlfriend, but will send it to me instead!*

That is THE BEST custom Mara Jade figure I have ever seen! It looks alot like Leah McCleod who played Mara Jade in the fan film "The Dark Redemption."

Well, Robert, from what I've seen on eBay...
it's fairly simple to just buy the Cygirl doll named "Blaze", somehow die her hair red, stick a lightsaber in her hand, and call her Mara Jade. Lots of people do THAT! They show up on eBay all the time!
But, as it's often said, the Devil's in the details! To make one of THIS level of quality, with this much attention to finer details, takes more work. You have to find or make the light-colored scarf thing like she wears, an appropriate SW belt and saber for her, kneepads, etc., etc. It takes work to make one this good. I'm sure if you email the guy I got it from, he could give you more info on just HOW much work he put into it!

 

that has got to be the ugliest mara jade wanna-be custom I've ever seen, from the neck up. why not make one on your own?

J_T_C, that was very 'giving' of you to get that for your best girl! You really do have the true spirit of Christmas!

A friend of mine also modified a CY Girl doll, into Joanna Dark (video game character). It turned out great, and was not that hard to do -- just be creative!

Wow, $182 for that. Its cool and all, but its a custom, you probably could have done one for about $40. I wouldnt have spent that type of $$$ on a seller with a rating of 12. I hope he doesnt stiff you. I had a friend that got screwed from someone with a low rating before.
