Why do you like Star Wars? : It is the beginning and end of all knowledge Ok, it was the first movie (actually RotJ) I saw in the theatre and it was really cool, it does have alot of truth to it though.

Of course it may be because my father is evil and he is the only one who can destroy the dark power that has controlled him since his betrayl as a youth, but that's a whole other story

Why do you like the EU? I just love all the stories, even the so/so authors I look at as history just written badly, I still love the stories.

Heh heh...thanks Strum. I searched all over for that one and ended up ordering it from Amazon.com or something online. Good thing it's a CD and not a tape or it'd be worn out by now. BTW, I think the Dune movie was way closer to Herbert's vision/text than the mini-series...but I'm still anxious to see Children of Dune on TV next year.

He's not tapped into the Dark Side, he doesn't have a corny vengeance complex, he's just ruthless and unstoppable. Think about it. Regarding the Dune soundtrack...

When I actually have more money I guess I'll have to buy it on Amazon, I guess, because I can only find it at one place for an overpriced $ 18. All I have is a handful of tracks in MP3 form. I've checked the used places for records ( yes I play them ) and cassettes but cant find it anymore. I used to always see it in thrift stores.

I found a live version of "Dune ( Desert Theme )", presumably by Toto, on Morpheus, that kicks ass far more than the studio track. I haven't seen the track on the two live Toto albums...is it from a bootleg? I'm always trying to find information on when the band would have done pieces of it live.

Top 3 favorite movies ( non-Star Wars ) : Tough one. I have different distinctions for comedy and others. For comedy my top three are Spaceballs, Strange Brew, and Canadian Bacon. In other categories I don't really have a set three, so it's hard to answer this question.

Top 3 favorite TV shows : Babylon 5, Due South, Mystery Science Theater 3000

Favorite actor : Don't really have one particular person. I do find myself impressed by Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap), Jason Lee, Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf), Andreas Katsulas (B5), and Peter Jurasik (B5). If I had to pick a favorite actor, though, it might be Harrison Ford. I like the majority of his movies.

Again, this is based only on what I have read, which isn't much, but I really hated Dark Empire. Only read the first two, but was unimpressed and wish I could forget it, except it has become such a vast part of continuity.

Favorite Star Wars artist ( if you can't think of one, name the book or comic that featured their work ) : Edvin Biukovic. I am still furious that he was not allowed to finish The Phantom Affair, and was sorry to hear of his passing.

Best bad guy - Palpatine / Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, or Jabba the Hutt? : Darth Vader, but Palpatine/Sidious could surpass him. I'm holding out until the prequel trilogy is done.

Worst character ( movies or EU ) : Depends on the meaning of worst. Worst developed character? Most annoying character? Character you love to hate? It's hard for me to point to one character and say that that person is the "worst" character ever. Need to narrow the parameters before I can answer this question.

Has George Lucas lost his touch? : I choose to withhold judgment until I have seen the entire prequel trilogy. I don't believe he has lost his touch in his ability to get people to go to the theater. Whether people are complaining or not, they will still go
