Well, my team is in NYG's division. There's infinite chances for revenge there.

when I was at my Yankees game in port charlotte there was a family a row back vacationing from Maryland, they were Yankees and Giants fans like me! The guy was saying to his son the Patriots have never beat the Giants In the Super Bowl. no truer words have ever been spoken, the pats are snake bit. The way you beat the pats is you rush Brady, you put pressure on him. He doesn't do good under pressure. Eli looked pretty good under pressure in San Francisco kept getting up never blamed his offensive line for getting him sacked,

Do the Giants have the personnel on their d-line to get that pressure, though? Having Spags back does help, and JPP is still effective, but those two defenses that won Super Bowls were incredible.

Also - saying this as an outsider - I don't think McAdoo is half the coach that Coughlin was.

I don't think most coaches are half the coach that Coughlin was. Of course, most coaches (except Andy Reid) are literally half the coach that the Ryan brothers are, though nowhere close to their talent. :p

Looks like that Smith deal is final. Hahaha. Looking forward to Leoluca convincing us he's the 2nd best QB in the league.

He could help them more at receiver, line him up in special packages a la Antwaan Randle El.

Total garbage as a passer, though. So glad the Chiefs never took that plunge.

I'm actually okay with this given that our previous backup was Ryan Nassib who sucked

Dwight Clark revealed yesterday that he has ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease. Terribly sad, but hopefully will lead to increased scrutiny and improved safety for the players of this league.

Damn! I've hated "The Catch" my whole life for its role in my Cowboys losing the NFC Championship Game (and this happened nearly 2 years before I was born), but that's still awful news to hear nonetheless.

That was the headline in a lot of news casts here in the Bay Area. Dwight Clark is not only a 49ers hero but a great guy off the field too. To my recollection, he was the first player to wear gloves (scuba gloves at that) when the league phased out stick'em.
