I was born in Pittsburgh and lived here pretty much all my life. The Rooney family and Dan in particular is probably one of the most influential persons to the city (outside of Andrew Carnegie), certainly of the 20th century. For as successful as he was, he always seemed humble and modest. He came off as very different than most modern day NFL owners. Their philosophy of picking the right coach and giving him time paid dividends beyond belief for the franchise. Three coaches in in practically 50 years is basically unheard of. They've had their fare share of players who are bums but the upper management of the team has always been strong. He'll be missed by the team and certainly the city.

Aaron Hernandez found Not Guilty in a 2012 double homicide case. The only significance of this verdict is the fact that it keeps the Serial Killer tag off of him.

There was more evidence in this case than the last one. If Hernandez had hired Jose Baez from the start maybe he wouldn't be in prison.

What do you mean? There was incriminating video evidence of him coming into his house with a gun and destroying the security camera. I believe that is a lot more evidence than this case, which had no forensic evidence and only one, untrustworthy witness.
