That is a stupid law. Assuming, of course, that he did commit suicide, since his death was by his own hand, he voluntarily ended his cooperation with his appeal, so I don't think that law should apply. Now, if he had been murdered or died of "natural" causes (ie not of his own hand), that would be a different matter, although the law still wouldn't make sense.

When I was growing up, I thought the Washington Redskins and the Washington Bullets referred to like, Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma, etc. I never figured out until the Bullets changed their name to the Wizards that they were the Washington DC Redskins, Bullets, and Wizards.

I grew up in Virginia (still live here), so I never had that confusion so far as the football team goes. Like you, I did think the Wizards were in Washington State for a long time (but that's because I was mostly paying attention to the NBA during the Jordan years - My sports team passions have always lay with NFL - and watched only very casually after Jordan had his second retirement in 1998.)

And the funny thing is, because all I knew about hockey was Wayne Gretzky when I was growing up, I didn't know the Washington Capitals even existed until I was in my 20s, nor was I aware that both the Minnesota Twins and the Texas Rangers originally existed as the Washington Senators until I discovered Wikipedia. Those should have been red flags to alert me to which Washington the "Washington" pro teams referred to. And I grew up in Texas as a Cowboys and Spurs fan.

    Don't forget Gronk's back.

I'd love to see the curse get Brady, unfortunately it would be just typical for Brady to be the one that bucks the curse and not only has a health year, but gets another Super Bowl as well. *grumble*

Yeah, I'm not worried. Curses don't exist.

Brady overcame the evil Goodell suspension last year to win #5, this year he'll over come Madden's curse to win #6!

Just keep my Cowboys players off the cover.

Then again, Emmitt Smith did manage to beat the SI Curse by winning Super Bowl MVP after his cover appearance.

Eddie George's "curse" was that they rode his ass 403 times in a primitive offense like he was a ******* plow horse, ruining his body permanently. Then Jeff Fisher tried to do the same thing with Gurley.

Peyton Hillis also had injury issues before in his career, so that was no surprise. The games he did play in that season he played well.

Just saw Giselle interviewed on CBS and she said Brady had a concussion last season. Is this true? I don't recall him having one. Did the Patriots cheat again? This time avoiding the concussion protocols set by the league.

I don't get this. A guy literally puts his health on the line to play sports, and could possibly be playing great in that sport while also in pain or discomfort, and your reaction is to claim he's cheating? I think you may want to reconsider the ferocity of your passion for the sport and the teams you love and hate.
