Welp, now the Pats are the only remaining team I don't want to win the Super Bowl.

This is gonna be hard to choose between the Eagles (Doug Pedersen, Nick Foles) and the Vikings (I'm a Minnesota native).

I'd be happy with either.

I’d love to be a good brother, and thus root for the Eagles next week so that the Saints have a measure of avegenment, but I’ve always wanted to see a team play a Super Bowl in their home stadium, so...

 

Fun fact: The Vikings are the first ever Super Bowl host team to ever make it to the Conference Championship.

 

Gonna be a tough night for Marcus Williams. I guess he hesitated because he didn't want to get called for the PI, then just sorta got out of the way. Unfortunately, he didn't get out of the way of his own guy, he took out Crawley's legs. Crawley might have gotten Diggs if he hadn't, Diggs kinda stumbled there for a sec after he caught the ball.

It's too bad, because Williams played okay for a rookie this year. Hope he can shake this off.

I don't think Blair Walsh ever got over missing that field goal for Minnesota, even though it wasn't even his fault.

 

I don't mind if the Jaguars beat the Patriots but I'm obviously not going to root for it. I would be fine with all four of these teams winning one personally. Considering three of them haven't though, of course the one that has will to ruin it for them.

 

Uh, Eagles have been the the Super Bowl. Twice, even. Just didn't win it all.

Interestingly enough though, they beat both Minnesota and Atlanta to make it to their last appearance in 2004 - against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Who says history doesn't repeat itself?
