To be fair about the 0-16 thing, Cleveland's problems were there for 17 years when Hue Jackson got there. 0-16 was clearly an accident waiting to happen to the Browns that whole time.

So NFL Network is reporting that Pats' OC Josh McDaniels is likely to be the next Head Coach of the Colts...

They really should have had back to back 0-16 seasons. That one win last year was a fluke.

This one is very strange. They said they were going to extend him after they beat the Chiefs. Then they started negotiating, and he's gone just like that. Did he ask for too much money? More power? Power over personnel? Did he find a better offer somewhere else and walk? What the hell happened for them to go from negotiating an extension to him leaving so quickly?

Seems like from what I was hearing on NFL Network, there was an issue over his staff, particularly probably not wanting to fire certain personnel.

They realized absolutely everyone beats the Chiefs in the playoffs, especially at Arrowhead, and so this shouldn't be considered an accomplishment :p

So far the Bellichick coaching tree has been surprisingly bad. So I'm not sure I'd be excited as a Lions fan, but we'll see.

Yeah, not excited to have Not Belichick as a head coach. Not sure how I feel about having a neckbeard for a head coach.

So there's proof now that Sean Payton was mocking the Skol chant before the walkoff TD

Couldn't he also be calling for a timeout? I know the Saints did call for one before the TD.

I highly doubt it given that it's Sean Payton. Same dude who gave the choking sign to Devonta Freeman if the Falcons just before the Falcons came back against the Saints

Sure seems like Payton likes to mock people who are about to whoop his ass. Good luck with that, bro.

He was definitely being an ass on the sidelines after they took the lead on that field goal.

We Gator fans would call it similar to the Premature Chompulation: that's where an opponent of the Gators (a player, not a fan), mocks the Gators with their chomp during the game, only for the Gators to pull out the win. :D

Sebastian Janokowski was credited as one of the first to foolishly pull this move in the '97 Florida vs FSU game where he extended FSU's lead to 29-25. Gators won that game, 32-29. :p

I typically agree but I actually think Mattt has a good chance to become the exception to that. Then again it is the Lions. They just seem never to get their act together.
