I'm glad I decided to go hiking today. That was awful.
*Deck the Halls with thoughts of playoffs; fa la la la, la la la la*
Redskins fans getting delusions of grandeur.
Who's currently atop of the NFC East? Oh yeah, the 'Skins are.
Besides, I haven't had the best of days, so it's nice to come home from a simple shopping errand (that turned out to be a two hour wait due to last minute holiday shoppers), and find my team managed to beat the browns with our back up QB.
'managed to beat the Browns' should never be an indicator of hope.
Also, lol @ the Steelers. Bengals for AFC North!
The first part of your post almost gets a like from me, Marcus.
I blame the CBS production team - they showed Ben's 28 wins in the 4th Quarter/OT. Every time it comes up in the broadcast, the Steelers loose.
Bengals/Steelers next week is basically a playoff game.
I wonder if NBC uses it's flex sched for that one?
Edit: *sighs* Oh well, we beat the Cowgirls at Thanksgiving, if it comes down to 'Skins/Cowgirls last game of the season for a playoff spot, we'll beat 'em again.
**** this NFL season. **** it.
Oh wow, the Paticheats are getting their butts handed to them by the 49ers in the rain.
Holy ****. That PI call was the biggest bull**** ever. Feet getting tangled isn't PI. They only called it because Brady was whining on the previous play (and spiked the ball, which would be unsportsmanlike conduct on any other team/qb).
That being said, how the hell does someone drop 4 snaps in a game? Kaep has more upside but Smith can at least take a snap under center. Kaep needs to learn how to do this very basic thing.
Niners scored too fast, there.
lol @ the patriots
that is all.
Whew. Even with help and Kaep not knowing how to take a snap, pulled it out in the end. Nice.
The Steelers, Patriots, and Ravens lost, the Texans won, the Broncos won, the Cardinals won. Today was ideal.
The Tebow conspiracies are flowing like crazy!
Warning: salty language and hilarity.
Pity they did it before the Monday night game.
but that would have screwed up the ending song marcus.
huh. so it turns out that golden tate catch in the green bay game waaaaaaay back in week three was actually... legit.
that's... i don't really know.
It may have turned out legit, but the replacement refs still botched things by not reviewing the play right after like they were supposed to do.
oh, i don't dispute that in the least. but that's still somewhat surprising. and definitely shows how flipping hard it actually is to ref a game. as i was pointed out in the article, it would have been nearly impossible to actually see without doing a frame by frame. which they don't do in reviews as far as he, or i, am aware of.
but it can be argued the right team did win, at least. considering the myriad other bad calls kinda evened out.
Yes I saw that article ages ago....I don't know what the uproar was about other than GB fans being annoyed. Watching it in real time how do you expect to give that to the defense?
Except that analysis is garbage. It presumes that Tate had control by getting a hand on it, when in fact he was never able to do anything more than juggle it -- which isn't control -- until after he hit the ground. Tate touched the ball, but Jennings was the only one to control it on the way to the ground.
Juggle? Looked more like this to me.
At the very least impossible to overrule.
except that the ball doesn't move after tate gets that one hand on the ball, and jennings had a helluva time getting it away from him with just that one hand on it. so...
and he had two hands on it, with two feet on the ground, first. he almost had a but on the ground before jennings had his feet down.
again, it proves how crazy flipping hard it is to ref a football game.
