From all accounts Pioli's exit and Reid's hiring have a lot to do with each other apparently.

No pics please, I saw that damn tattoo on First Take this morning and nearly lost my breakfast.

Ray Lewis is worth the roster spot though. He may not be a beast as much as he used to but he can talk the talk and it helps inspire the rest of the D. On the Dan Patrick show yesterday he was saying Ray already has a gig with ESPN on lock down.

I kind of call that being a wuss. Who cares what condition the opposing team is in. If my QB did that I would feel indifferent about it.

The news here in KC cut into daytime programming to show aerial coverage of Hunt and Reid going from the downtown airport into a black SUV and then all the way to Arrowhead. This is why you want to coach in this city.

It'd be awesome if Eli prank-called Tom after the Super Bowl. "How are you doing? You doing okay?"

You're absolutely right, and your memory is better than mine, he was good on those years that we made runs with double digit wins. I guess I was thinking about the earlier seasons, when he struggled a bit. But you're correct, and I was not, good call.

Wilson has struggled on the road much more than at home. But, I'm still not sure about RG3's mobility compared to earlier this year. And if Seahawks secondary gives him fits it could be a long afternoon.

Seriously, I think this game is a tossup. I'm cheering for my 'hawks but this is the first time for the redskins in the post for, what, 12 years? That crowd is gonna be nuts.

The Ravens D was better this year with Lewis out.

Reid to Chiefs is done....I'm not sure it's going to be a great move. However Pioli is out so that's a positive.

Yeah I really have no expectation about how good Reid will be. I'm just happy that Clark Hunt at least realized there was a big problem, listened to all the fan rage, and then went aggressively after the person he wanted. It's just good to know he gives a crap about it. You can never know how good any team or staff will be, but you have to at least try your damndest to win.

You think they go after Alex Smith and draft for a different need?

Maybe go after Kolb? I think trying to help him was what made him schedule an interview with the Cards in the first place.
